For this edition of Subday Sunday, I'm playing a game that I've heard a lot about in the past, and on which many streamers have spent countless hours, Slay the Spire! Let's see what this game is all about!

I love this tour of the classics. Slay the Spire is up there as a rougelike all-time great along with FTL.

Found you through your Elden Ring videos but see that you also play StS, one of my favs. 2000 hours into years. Insanely good game!

I instantly knew grubby is a man that would enjoy roguelikes, great to see how he played FTL and slay the spire and more. I can really really recommend multiverse mod for FTL almost endless entertainment and choices / unlocks, Risk of Rain 2 is goated but less strategical its a maybe for grubby I guess. Slay the Spire hits the strategic choice making nature more. Great times - Great entertainment for yourself and us!

Great find Grubby. Its one of those games, that I can play very often. After thousand known titles its hard to get hooked on something

Really fun vid to watch! Ibrespect the blind run. My first time my friend just sat me at the computer and said "try this". I dont think he expected me to clear in my first try! Strength stacking is ine of my fav builds in the game too.

The community in STS is pretty wholesome AFAIK. It would be really cool if you can get someone experienced from the community (i.e. Jorbs) to coach you thru one of the higher ascension levels

Oh man, I put something like 300 hours in StS and the Downfall mod, it's probably the best roguelike I've ever played.

I love that Grubby is picking up new games, and one after the other it's a favorite of mine! FTL, Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon... all amazing games! I think Hades (and the first one - Bastion) are also up there in quality and fun!

So glad Grubby is getting into roguelikes much less deck builders too. Would love to see him give Chrono Ark a try. Fun watch regardless as usual 😌

This game is an easy 10/10. You may want to look up some interviews of the devs as it's got an interesting story. They utlized feedback of streamers and beta testers to an unprecedented degree to make this game both fun to play and to watch. Purge and Cap also stream StS between DOTA and I think there's a lot of viewer overlap.

I was waiting for Grubby to realise that Clash is a terrible card, then I was waiting for him to find out that Disarm is one of the best Ironclad cards. Turns out he found out both in the same fight!

Youre a great variety streamer, I'm sure having everything on one channel would help grow your audience. its unfortunate you split all your channels it makes it much harder to follow than a one stop shop channel.

As a seasoned player, this was painful to watch haha. BUT HEY! Glad you picked up the game and I look forward to watching your Silent run. Once you get the hang of it, the game is super fun AND if you get the Spire with Friends Mod you can play with your lovely wife.
