I’m still yet to watch that Indy game in 2013…it was the last time I cried at a sports event! It changed how I look at sports totally….I had to tell myself that until they paid my bills you man up and accept it😢

what people fail to realize is Alex Smith is one of the calmest QB'S in the NFL he play's great under pressure and will take the sack then turn the ball over. he plays smart and if we can get the Alex Smith from the 2014 playoffs then it will be over before it begins. Alex is full of unpredictiablity and has been seen clutch in the playoffs.

Smith is only over looked because he's not a fantasy football QB he's not as entertaining as Tom Brady we have seen Alex very clutch we have seen him throw the deep ball to a Touchdown he's conservative he's smart it's great to have a QB throwing lobs and deep passes all the time but Alex doesn't turn it over like ur average QB would and that folks wins football games.

Ironically, the Jets and Chiefs are cursed for winning Super Bowl 3 & 4 for the old AFL. Neither has returned to the Super Bowl since that time. If only I had loaded up against them in the playoffs over all these years. Just amazing.

Add 2017 playoffs (losing at home to Steelers w/o giving up a TD), 2018 (blowing 18 pt lead at home to Titans and Mariota throwing TD to self), 2019 (inches offside negated game winning INT, plus three 3rd & 10 converted on Pats game winning drive) Thankfully 2020 was different!

We have just been in 3 of the last 4 Super Bowls, and won 2 of them, and that 1995 playoff loss to the Colts still hurts. In the locker room after the game, they had to physically restrain DT from hurting the kicker who will not be named, and I don't blame DT at all. But, I have always considered this loss to be 99% Carl Peterson's fault. The year before, Peterson had to swing his manhood around and strong arm Nick Lowery, who was the second most accurate kicker in NFL history at the time, and instead of paying him what he was worth, Peterson let him go. The Chiefs could have easily paid Lowery his asking price, but Carl Peterson fancied himself to be a tough negotiator, and his pride cost the Chiefs a chance at the Super Bowl. Now, I thank the Goddess for Mahomes, Reid, and Veach.

Holy smokes. 9er fan here. I had no idea it was this bad in KC. I don't watch much of the AFC; if ever. So I don't follow KC. But if ever I saw a cursed team, this was it. I'll bet that rivalry between the Colts is brutal.

Elliot played terribly that day, no doubt, but Bono threw 3 INTS that day, mostly into double coverage. They had the top-ranked rushing offense in the league that year and they decided to air it out that day in frigid weather.

In 1998, I saw Derrick Thomas standing in hallway at Children's Mercy. That was an awesome moment see him. I wish he would got to play in Super Bowl. He was one of my favorite Chiefs players going up. I'm so glad Chiefs won Super Bowl 54 in Thomas's hometown. RIP Derrick Thomas. No matter of all those playoff loses. Derek you could change a game by forcing a fumble or sacking the quarterback. There never be another Derrick Thomas. His speed to get past the offensive line was unbelievable.

They forgot to mention the Chiefs went into the playoffs against the Broncos winning 9 games in a row with back up Rich Gannon. And for some unknown unbelievable reason, they put Elvis Gerbac in to replace him. Still can’t get over that one.

Len Elliot was a disappointment BUT not the biggest one that day!!! Marty not starting Rich Gannon who got us there was a HUGE MISTAKE!!!! Elvis couldn't scramble or run and on that cold ass need you needed Rich. Even if the sun was shining and 50 out Rich earned it!!! All that momentum from a 13-3 season and you bench the QB that was leading the team in to the playoffs because "Your guy is health again". SMH.
