I can't imagine how stressful it would be to have everyone criticizing you constantly but I am so thankful that you have not pushed that delete button! It's nice to have someone you look up to talk about the real life trials of life, like your anxiety, or your worries. I reminds us that even the people we look up to have ups and downs. So thank you for always being open, honest, loud, and fun! So proud of you and how far you have come!

Don't really get all of the negativity on her channel...if you don't like someone/something specific you shouldn't watch it. Instead of bullying each other we should be building each other up !! Anxiety and depression don't just disappear because of prosperous experiences. To those saying "Jaclyn, you shouldn't complain about anxiety, you should be so thankful! You have so much to be grateful for!" I think you've misunderstood the point Jaclyn is trying to make. Anxiety and depression persist even when life is wonderful. When it doesn't make sense to be miserable, you still are. There's a level of hopelessness and helplessness that tags along with anxiety/depression that doesn't change even if you have all the wealth in the world. Let's all be empathetic and kind to one another. Disrespectful and destructive words cause nothing but pain.

Manni Valenzuela if people truly understand this.. things would much easier, or at least nicer i guess for those who suffer anxiety/depression or any other disorder. Nice to read someone who gets it. I don't suffer from, but someone close to me does, and.. I came to learn a lot from experience and med school of course.

Andrea González I do personally suffer from anxiety and fight to overcome it everyday. The deep pain caused when others devaluate or dismiss experiences caused by Generalized Anxiety Disorder and other Anxiety Disorders has astronomical damage on ones mental health/stability. Thank you for your comment and thank you for being one who empathizes with those of us who suffer from mental health issues.

I do think you guys are in some way stronger than us, even if you guys don't think it that way.. But, you're not alone, there's always someone who gets it, who will be there (at least I try to be). Just a random comment, I think I might become a psychiatrist, from personal experience and because of my career choice (it's quite interesting if you ask me).. maybe I'll be good at it, and help those who and create conscience about it. Never give up, best wishes, and if you ever need to talk to a stranger, you know where to find me :).

I hate that everyone is mad that she is proud to own a home with her husband.. it's important to feel comfortable in a home together. Of course Jaclyn lives nice, she has the money to do so. Anyone in her position would do the same but her point is that's not the reason she loves what she does. Love love love Jaclyn more than anything.

I guess with more fame comes more hate. I can honestly say in all my years of watching Jaclyn, I have NEVER seen her comment section be this out of control. Jaclyn don't be phased by all these mean comments saying "you've changed" and "you're not real anymore" "you're not humble". You're as real as you've ALWAYS been. And you're just as humble & down to earth. Your REAL supporters know this. You've worked hard for everything you have from the bottom up. These new comers can't possibly judge you because they don't know your story. Those who claim that your "bragging" about your achievements simply don't know your heart. I think you handled the Kim K video better than 95% would have, you're doing just fine. Congratulations on your new home, your new palette, and amazing opportunities God has rewarded you with 💕

I know this will get drowned in the other 10k comments, but in case you do see this... I'm so happy for you and Jon. I can see the joy exudes from you in your videos and snapchats recently. When you were talking about your house, it made me tear up. I know it's hard to love God through the tough times, but that's when He wants us the most! I get so excited about makeup, it could be getting new products, having a new tutorial to watch, or just having a new exciting product launch and being able to get all the good tea. But from where I'm from no one around me seems to be into beauty the way I am. The only way for me to get to sit down and "talk" makeup with the girls is getting to watch videos like yours! When I first started to get into beauty you were the first KZfaqr I was subscribed to. I did my prom and homecoming looks from your videos all four years of high school. You've been such an inspiration to me and you've helped me to not get discouraged when I hit bumps in the road wether they are beauty related or life related. So thank you for keeping me excited about something I'm so passionate about, giving me a place to come and find new ways to express myself, and basically being my friend.

It is so cool that you want to work to stop human trafficking. Maybe on an upcoming makeup product you make, a portion of proceeds could go to a charity that works to put a stop to child/human trafficking? That way we can all feel EXTRA good about buying your amazing products. LOVE YOU JACKZ

Having just officially been diagnosed with depression myself, I understand how overwhelming and underwhelming and everything in between things can be. I've watched this video once before, but watching it now a second time I am listening to you speak about Jon's seizure and the house has me literally in chills head to toe. Such a powerful moment talking about your anxiety and depression and saying God doesn't know who you are right now. It really hit home for me. Depression and anxiety are evil monsters that make you feel that way, and I'm finding myself feeling depressed lately and thinking some of those same things. Thank you for being so open with us and talking about the struggles you face, and how wonderful things can come out of incredibly dark situations.

I think MOST of us would rather have this type of video, vs the lights/background/over thought type. You actually put your shoulders down so to speak in videos like this, and seem less stressed out. Jaclyn, I usually don't comment, but I've been following you and been a big fan of yours from what seems like the beginning, and this has been my favorite video you've done in a long time, I missed those casual get ready with me and Q&A's you used to do, and I loved how genuine you were in addressing everything that was going on, God bless you girl, and thanks for being my fave youtuber, anytime anyone asks me how I learned to do makeup or gives me a compliment, I always tell them i learned everything from you! Okay I'm just going to throw this out there for everyone who is calling Jaclyn a hypocrite: Jaclyn is allowed to experience different emotions about the same event. People are very complex and aren't limited to feeling one way about something. All of us have gone back and forth about the way we feel about something.

I honestly don't understand the hate and negativity from your video with Kim, or let alone any video! When I first watched the video I truly thought you guys were friends before filming, and even before that. You have such a bubbly and genuine personality and it definitely shines through the camera. I feel as though you can definitely tell how down to earth, genuine, and an amazing friend you are, and this is me just subscribing and watching your videos and I can only imagine in person! You have grown so much and I can only hope and strive to be such a beautiful soul like you, inside and out.

Jaclyn! I have been watching your videos since I was a freshman in college and now Im going into my senior year! I have loved seeing you grow as a woman and loved getting to know you. When you were in tears in this video, lets be honest I was too. You are an incredible woman and everyone who knows me knows I love you! The comments on the video are focusing on such irrelevant information and not even congratulating or being proud of Jaclyn's achievements in the past year. It's obvious that she cares about what she does and also appreciates us so why make it seem like she doesn't? I notice a lot of older you tubers are having this issue. Everyone is negative. Nicole Guerrero and Jackie AIna etc all have been getting more and more negative comments. Its no wonder Michelle Phan had a mental breakdown. KZfaq is different now. The trolls are getting crazy.

I have very bad anxiety and I tend to have panic attacks alot but knowing you face anxiety as well and you are so honest about it makes me feel so much better cause you still make the most of your life no matter what. Im really shy & don't talk as much. I can't answer questions or be friendly to a stranger with no reason. I think Kim was having the same thing, in front of the camera talking and doing her makeup is very hard. Jaclyn was doing her things, and I thought it was very sweet when she continued the conversation. We just saw a small, edited video guys. Don't act like you know everything about that situation.

I totally agree! If you've ever seen Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kim has said several times that she's actually very shy and quiet and gets uncomfortable in public speaking situations. I felt like Jaclyn did a great job in the video, I don't know what everyone is complaining about!

Ahh yes I remember the days of watching you in just sunlight or your old kitchen and/or I believe it was like a sunroom... and this gave me back those memories! I really miss your bloopers though they always had me laughing so hard! I love you and have a really good instinct when it comes to people and I know your heart it always in the right place and I can relate to you in more ways than I can count (everything from anxiety, depression, unfortunately currently being where you were a while ago when you first started, went to school for psychology and human services to help children, having people instantly misjudge before they know you, being grateful for the moments that give you the goosebumps and teary eyes out of joy, believing everything happens for a reason whether we know it or not and we can learn from experiences, even to having the exact same boob lights and just goofing around and dancing with my friends (no heafty bags yet haha) Thank you for being you and taking the high road when it comes to unnecessary harsh "criticism." Thank you for staying strong and real, proving that you would rather be hated for who you are rather than loved for who you are not. On a quick side note, even if you don't read this and someone else does, I too have been a ride or die for luminous carbon black and love that new one too, but I also got a Sephora playbox this month with superhero mascara from it cosmetics and wow, just check it out. Love ya girl and hope one day I can meet you and have that instant connection! :)

I really don't understand people. When I first watched your video with Kim, I didn't think anything bad of it, I tought you were normal and friendly. After all the drama, I rewatched the video to see if I was the one who was not paying attention but I still don't see any problem. In a normal conversation it's normal to get excited and interupt the other person sometimes. We're not robots. I think you made it feel genuine. I think she is honestly one of the most sincere and sweet human beings and I believe her when she says she doest want the fame if she did she would have moved to LA like a large amount of fame hungry youtubers...even moving to Miami within Florida, which no shade I love and I live in Miami since I was hired her, would have been a move if she wanted more fame. She is someone that seems like she puts family first and that is something to admire from her.

I hate that you have to explain yourself and explain why you do things in your life. I have been following you for a while now, I can tell when you get excited or happy about something. The Kim video was a HUGE deal for you, you met a celebrity! Anyone would have freaked and acted that way as well. And CONGRATULATIONS on owning YOUR OWN HOME! That is such BIG deal! I am so happy for you and John, you both deserve it! I dont understand why people are 'annoyed' or 'upset' that you have YOUR OWN HOUSE, YOUR OWN HOME, people should be congratulating you guys. I dont comment on videos, but I just wanted to say that I appreciate you speaking about your husbands struggle with having his seizure. I unfortunately have had them since I was 18 (I am 21 now), and it has been so hard on me. It took away my ability to drive, my anxiety that I had worked so hard to get under control from when I was a younger teen came back, and I even broke my cheekbone on my very first awake seizure. There was a time where I contemplated suicide because I thought I would never be right again and I was in so much pain. All I can say is that there are people out there going through so much worse than myself, and I have to be thankful for all of the good things that I have, including the health that I do have. Many, many, uncountable seizures later, I am proud to say that I have 5 and a half months free, and even if this doesn't last which I'm praying it does, I am proud of myself. I have a dream one day to help people who have been through bad health conditions, because watching other people who are worse off than myself, inspired me. I hope Jon is okay and if he (or anyone reading this) is feeling down, just keep going and pushing through, what is meant to happen will.

I honestly miss old KZfaq vides, and how original videos were. Instead of them worrying about backgrounds, etc. I'm super stoked for your video of you filming on the floor. Nothing is better than reality and truth. In real life you aren't worrying about backgrounds, and the perfect posture, and just wanting to satisfy people. In real life its you and that's it.
