Andy, don't stress about the quality of the video as it showed us what you have done without issue and as you say the finish line is oh so close and now Bill's son has ridden the bike and given his approval of your work the handover date must be getting closer and Bill will be a very happy fella for sure. Great work again.

Andy you won't believe this but a long time ago i had a gs 550. It was exactly the same colour as yours and the tank was plain too with no logos. I also did a top end rebuild on it. It also had a 4 into 1 pipe. A Sebring system if i remember. Gotta love those motors. I'll see if i can find a photo later and put it up on FB. Great work Andy but for Christ's sake stop apologising! Great vids as always. Tazzy looks great.

I get frustrated when my expectations outweigh my ability. In spite of the fact that I am working out of a messy garage I still want to provide the most professional presentation that I can, it grinds my gears when I produce poor quality audio etc. People who take the time to watch my content deserve better, IMHO
@roythearcher

I was always shown to balance carbs by matching the two pairs of carbs, IE, No1 & 2 together then 3 & 4, then balance the two pairs using the screw between carbs 2 & 3 as thats how the individual screws are set to adjust. Worked for me and you can do it if you only have a twin set of vacuum guages!
@ANDY5
@ANDY5 4 жыл бұрын
And that is actually the correct method. I was also taught to do it that way too. But at the end of the day it really doesn’t make a difference and I was more concerned about what I could reach easily without moving cameras around, I probably should have explained that. Thanks for watching Roy 👍

I must say that the fact that you don't get all the bits and pieces right with footage, light or sound just adds to the joy of following your channel. You have big skills in the machanics and you are very good in front of the camera, thats what matters. Of course its better when we here you, but i'm glad that you gives us your mistakes as well. Another thing, totally of topic: Do you have the same fire season as Australia seems to have gone in to or are you generally spared from that terrifying element?

I thought my KZ900 was sweet, until I got my GS, it was a little louder in the valves as far as tick (found out that was good) but the GS just pulled hard till 150...and then the catastrophic speed wobble starts (learned that I was the cause, not trying to control it, is what's needed) it was just so raw and explosive back in the day!
