Broady Taylor Yeah, I even remember the exact car I used at the time. It was a Honda Civic Type R (EK) ‘97. I always make a point of getting one (or something similar) every time I play a new Gran Turismo game.

@@McPlayer8t my first playthrough I used a Galant VR4 in the 80s dealership. I was 7 at the time and got the game and a ps2 for Christmas, this was before I realized I could also by a Lancer Evo 1 for under 10k too

Really? I wouldn’t have thought you could get a Lancer so cheap. I still play GT4 every once in a while, but I haven’t started a brand new save in a long time, so I don’t look at the used cars much, except for when I bought the black edition cars. I still haven’t 100% finished the game yet…

There were some leaks that the game on ps5 will have a ray-tracing mode and a 60 fps one.

I noticed Ray tracing on some cars during circuit races in daytime. But I also noticed Ray tracing turned Off during rally races and during rainy races. So it's obvious certain modes won't support Ray traced reflections.

@@Kev27RS Yes, there was. The majority of special paint colours were unlocked from buying specific models in said colour, with the paint name included. So as I said, 6 and Sport.

@@HSGAutomotive I remember it being like that in GT5 and 6. In Sport though, can't remember it functioning like that. Haven't played Sport in probably 2 years, so there's that... 😂 Here in GT7 it looks different, since you can see the brand logo attached to the specific color in the selection menu. That's what caught my eye to be honest.

That is a good point, because Brembo and a few others are there too. It is called “Brand Central“ now rather than “New Car Dealership“ or something to that effect, so it makes sense. Maybe they are there just for the history side of things, which is pretty cool in itself. I guess we’ll find out in a months time.
