I have no idea how can anyone dislike the heavy movement and control of the character in rdr2, the heaviness and methodical nature of the movement was one of the biggest immersion factor in rdr2. People ARE slow & heavy in real life movements and that is how i want it to be in realistic open world genre games.

I’m hoping that with gta 6 we get more emphasis on story mode. I hope we got story dlc like gta 4 and we get a longer gta story that won’t die too soon

controls in RDR2 feels natural and realistic , and I love it!.I hope GTA 6 will also show a realistic and natural world and slow animations.Thats why I love GTA 4 , and RDR2 to this day

I really really hope they bring back some of the features from GTA San Andreas like eating food and getting fat, going to the gym, and all the cool stuff they never recreated from that game.

Being more creative with how you complete missions would be nice.. i don't expect the level of freedom something like Dishonored offered, but they should at least try to make them a little more open..

I think GTA 5's biggest narrative weakness is it's 3 character main protagonists. Though offering an interesting gameplay mechanic, it really impacts character depth. The only character with any real depth in Trevor and even then, it's the bare minimum. If instead Rockstar had decided to spend the same amount of time fleshing out a single character, rather than 3, it would have greatly improved GTA 5's story.

I'm hoping gta 6 have that realistic ragdoll and maybe some gore that can be turned off for some people that don't like it

I disagree on rdr2 having terrible controls if anything they were perfect and i sure as shit hope GTA VI moves and plays the same way, i liked how heavy it felt to move Arthur it added that much more realism. I basically hope GTAVI is an copy n paste of rdr2 in every sense and more which i think is what they are going for and im so ready for that!

IMO if the games presented a passage of time similar to RDR, RDR2 and GTA online then it would go a long way. The one thing GTA never gets is an epilogue showing what they’re currently up too in a few years or even months later. It would be nice to see what’s gone on after the main events from the story are done. In GTA SA and even 5 you’re almost left assume that everything only happens in the course of weeks without ever proclaiming exactly how much time it’s been since a previous event. Even 5 and 4 suffer from this to an extent. The way it was done in RDR2 is nearly perfect but could be better. I think it would go a long way in relationship building with characters knowing how long they’ve been together

I personally find gta 5 story more enjoyable than gta 4, Vice City and 3 but nothing beats San Andreas for me. Looking forward to the next gta been tired of gta 5 since 2020.

I really wish GTA 6 puts a focus on things to do outside the main story missions. Its sad that San Andreas offered leagues more things to do outside the main mission then GTA 5 despite GTA 5 having a bigger map and 3 times as many characters. Also the Gunplay i.m.o. is ripe for a redo. Guns in Rockstar games feel like point and click device with next to no recoil and a total lack of bullet physics. Its especially funny in RDR 2 since the game is trying to be super realistic, yet bullets travel with the speed of light and aren't affected by gravity somehow.

IVs drags to drags story was a product of its time. Will never be duplicated again. Vs story was just you guys trying to pay a debt to Madrazo. I’ve beaten many of times but had no emotion to it. RDR2 was a story stealing master piece that left me in awe. Idk what VI will have in store for us but I’m surely lookin forward to it.

just re introduce zones/ territories again and make difficulty based on player completion or do something similar to what they did in godfather2 with area loot progression

I got to see GTA 6 last year not going to say how that will hurt my source if i did but the Grapghics reminded me of a updated RD2 and it looked like the best looking game ive seen there alot customization witch i like and stuff you can do like buy property i never saw the girl in the hill billy guy the gameplay i saw was with a black guy witch he is 1 of the main people in a game . GTA6 should still have those big set pieces but it really needs a good chunk missions with just an with just an objective and let the player decide how to accomplish it through systems built into the game. Players are tired of the go here, get this specific vehicle, drive up to this gate, pick up this McGuffin, go to this build, access the security system at this terminal, make sure you don’t go more than 10 metres outside the mission zone etc, the worlds they create are amazing but the singleplayer needs to utilise them better

GTA V had 69 missions and RDR2 had 108. I think about 90 missions would be the sweet spot for GTA 6. Longer than GTA V, shorter than RDR2.

Is it just me or is gta v’s story comedic in a lot of aspects? i found rdr2’s story way more enjoyable deaths in that game were far more impactful than in gta 5

GTA IV made me start skipping school in 8th grade. GTA V brought down my GPA my freshman year of college. I’m hoping GTA VI makes me neglect my fatherly duties. I want my wife to get angry with me. I doubt it will be changed in this game but I think Rockstar needs to totally rework character movement. The characters really control like garbage compared to most modern games. This is especially noticed with the fist person mode.

Rockstar better be dropping the best most graphics open world game ever. Considering they have 1000s off employees and have spent 10+ years on the game. For me i am more worried about the writing and Rockstar appealing to "modern audiences" and removing the humor of the previous GTA's than actually making fun missions and an amazing open world.

I don’t think they are releasing Gta 6 they deliberately stated news being released for the new Grand Theft Auto in early December. Meaning it is a play on words and meant to confuse over excited fans into buying into the add on. Truly sad not to get a new story and map but the remastered Trilogy version has shown what we needed to know and with people continuously supporting 5 online there will be no 6!

Story and Gameplay are very important. But Gameplay is better. A game can have excellent storyline but if the gameplay sucks, then the game sucks. But if a game got a wack story and the gameplay is fire. Then the game is great. I'll take gameplay over story any day. But when both are great it makes the game better.

Hopefully they remember people play GTA for fun… not for realism. Yes, a number of realistic touches and details enrich the overall experience but too much realism ruins the game for me just like what happened with RDR2.

More options in how to complete missions, and stop holding my hand throughout the game. Don't give us things like suppressors or stealth and then not give us any way to implement them into missions.

I hope they don’t go down the route of rdr2 in terms of a super heavy emphasis on scripting. More emergent gameplay would be nice. I mean in terms of story missions a certain amount of scripting is understandable, but in rdr2 even the side quests were completely scripted and predicable. On rails almost. Limits replayability and entirely defeats what I would’ve thought the purpose of an open world game is.

GTA has been my favorite franchise since the first time I played the original on my friend's pc way back in the day.. It felt like a game you weren't supposed to be playing as a kid.. I eagerly awaited every release since and I loved pretty much every title R* has put out.. But there was something off about Vs single player for me, especially coming off of, what was IMO their best work, in GTA IV. I was surprised to see them move away from so many of the things that made IV so great.. The immersion, the realism, the physics, the gritty down to earth story.. Liberty City itself.. I was really let down when I first picked up V, but eventually I fell in love with what made it a great game as well.. Just in different ways. I really wish we could find a happy medium between IV and V. I need a little more realism and Street level crime stories instead of a Hollywood action blockbuster type of story.. It does seem like that's what we're getting so I'm super excited for it.. Like theyre giving GTA the same amount of detail they gave RDR2 and I'm ALL THE WAY for it.. I want as much immersion and realism as that had.. FOR SP... If you want to dumb that down for GTO that's fine with me, but please give us a SP epic like we got with RDR2, AND MAYBE SOME DLC? I will have Zero complaints

Just remember the people who made every previous GTA and RDR games are not making GTA 6. Leslie Benzies, Dan Houser and Michael Unsworth the main individuals behind the success of GTA 5 and RDR2, they are the reason why we love those games so much, now that they're gone I have mixed feelings about GTA 6, there's no doubt it's gonna be visually and technically a masterpiece but the writing, characters and story is what I am curious about.

At this point I can absolutely guarantee it'll have comically sluggish controls. As technologically advanced as Rockstar are, they seem incapable of hiring someone who knows how to code character movement.

Another important lesson: Don't make the game TOO big. Ik it wasn't made by Rockstar, but AC Valhalla was heavily pulled back by how long it took to finish, even without the sidequests. Don't put too much details in, don't include too many side activities.

You are too used to gta online, rdr2 movement mechanics and slowness is perfect. I prefer it over any other rockstar game.
