So that IS an APR car... what's the story? Last Golf I saw with those/similar graphics is Arin@APR's Mk5 K04 Gti. As far as I know they never offered those graphics to the public. IF there is a story, would be great seeing a video about it. 👍🏾

Not an APR specific car. It was completely built here. It just had APR gear on it and he wanted something different for paint. So we got the complete crest art from APR and I designed a couple layouts in Photoshop....we picked one and made it happen. It's paint also, not vinyl.

Question for you guys about what gas you are running to get those numbers? I’m moving from Ontario where I have access to 94 almost everywhere but I’ve heard the best you can get in NS is 91?

Quick question, has spool time reduced as significantly as physical dimensions on the garrets? I've been eying the g25-550 because I want more than a 300hp max turbo, but for my preferred driving style, quick spool is very important to me.

Hey! You asked for questions, so here's a big one! I want to do the 4WD conversion to a 2013 BEETLE! How different is the bug floorpan to the GTi? I have a 2.0 TSi Turbo which is the same engine (and same power) as the GTi, but no idea if the floor pan is different. Also - hello from the UK! :-)

Hey have another question. In vems the outputs have to be set up but I don't see one for the mac sensor I guess I'm going to have to see if Kevin will do something for me. Cause I have the lugtronic wiring harness and the red and white wires are the only extra outputs

I own a vw 92 cabriolet and I fixed quite a bit of things in the car. As new parts were installed. At this point the fuel pump went out, and replaced with a high flow pump, the fuel pump assembly was modified. The only problem is that now I can hear a rod knock 😞. I’m debating to fix that or swapping the engine, not something that ever wanted to do. As I wanted to keep it original. I put over 2 thou within this past 2 years upgrading things. The question I have, what would be the best swap for my mk2. I was thinking on a vr6 but not sure.

VR swaps are probably the most common. But I do like 1.8ts in older smaller cars.

That's not how Haldex works. Basically max 50/50.

Interested in getting a set of those IE rods for my engine, but they don't list the BZC engine code, do you know if these will work with the Audi S3 8P engine ? Ok I went to your website and found them listed, but you need to run aftermarket pidtons ?

Just curious what spark plugs you guys suggest for a tuned BYP 2.0t mk5 2008. Im working on a friends car. I have lots of 1.8t but dont know much about mk5s.

It has NGK PFR7S in it right now. There pretty old. But i also found some old bosch ones.🤷♂️ I run BKR7E in our 1.8t.

Although it's possible to do this the same as factory, this car is going to be run on standalone. So not the same.

It varies mostly due to the donor car. So really find a cheap donor and you're way ahead.

Did you guys have to swap the ESP sensor and the ABS block on this one? Did you have to do that on the your MK6?

We tried coding around it, but this isn't the proper abs module in this car. And I junked the swap car long ago. So this one rocks the traction control light, but AWD works fine.

Actually I thought this comment was on the other AWD conversion car (my daily). This specific one isn't finished and is going on full standalone so not really going to be the same.

@@cjdoc77 no it's the only code. Basically cause abs isn't happy. I don't care enough to worry about it. It's going on standalone when the 07K turbo goes in it anyways.

Thanks, however there's 5 other videos with a lot of that. This is a video series about the evolution of this car. There's going to be some that are explaining what's going on. Otherwise there would be no story at all... just a car sitting there.
