Me too, I don't get the people saying they aren't as good as the others. I will take this one over any Honda carb ever made.

They are. There is a lot of prying things open but less cleaning. Nothing sticks to the plastic

Wow those are some big lights Bill. I know why your videos are always bright and clear! 🍩✌🇺🇸

The brighter the light, the cleaner the image! All my "zoom in" work is done post production and I have discovered over time that I could only zoom in 2x or so with "good" light but I can zoom in clearly up to 6x or 8x if I have enough light on it. That allows me to back the camera away a few feet and get the tripod out of the way. Currently my primary camera is an S24 set at 8k video(highest setting) Modern phone cameras are comparable to high end professional gear if you have the enough lighting.

9:46 the o-ring and plastic retainer stuck to the block. That should be in the carb. I am surprised it started. Their might be a starting issue if the intake get a little loose from carb Another Bill’s guaranteed to start engine 👍👍👍

I like it better when they stay on the motor, one less thing to keep track of while the carb is on the bench. It isn't obvious but when I am pushing the carb on, it seats the retainer and ring into the carb. I can hear it click into place but the mic treats it like background noise. 👍

I very rarely have the loss of spark. Mostly just a point cleaning and a newer mad was and is trouble free. 99% of the time it US the carb. Silly people and their alcohol. Happy week, Pard and stay cool. Got rain rhere again but no surprise. CHEERS!

I usually check spark when I buy them, this ones cable felt a touch loose, so there was a chance it wasn't moving far enough to break the circuit. It's always the carb, when it's not, it's still the carb. 🤣

@GuysPlayingWithTools

I missed that one. 🙄 This particular mower has a cable tension adjustment on the handle bar and it was so loose, it gave the impression there was no belt at all. A quick adjustment and it was off and running.

I remember the guarantee start system had the replacement Briggs and Stratton fuel stabilizer Cap that required to buy the fuel stabilizer from home Depot and any where else that sold it for a Briggs and Stratton engine that had the first start system

@@GuysPlayingWithTools that is a great idea to do that back in the day Briggs and Stratton fuel stabilizer was the if I remember correctly a green looking formula now if you can still find it it's a Red color other thing is that the old formula came in a 2 chamber bottle you had to squeeze it to fill the measuring chamber and then dump it in the gas tank on your lawn mower dang I'm getting Old to remember that stuff from back when I was younger 🤣🤣

@GuysPlayingWithTools
@GuysPlayingWithTools 4 ай бұрын
@@robertmailhos8159 I use plain old pump regular gas. The trick to getting away with it is to never let it get old. If the regular or premix tanks are nearing 2 or 3 weeks old I dump them into the car and refill them. To save myself from people asking... no, a quart of premix fuel won't hurt your car. If it has a full tank it's diluted to the point of not mattering at all

So at this point you don't go ahead and clean all the jets just that one ok lol I'm tour down that far I'm cleaning all jets check the diaphragm do it right if your going to do it just makes more sense knowing all jets are clean

On this particular carb the removable white plastic insert inside the bowl contains all the jets (it's a bowl carb, it doesn't have any diaphragms)

@@jamesatkinson5027 I have different methods for each style carb, each addresses what might go wrong with that type of carb. With any metal carb, I faithfully run them through the ultrasonic because there are internal places gunk can build up. The plastic Briggs carbs are the easiest, pop the jets out and clean them, and it works like new every time. 👍
