All I have to say about this cutesy little Holiday Special is that it was _exactly_ what I needed after bawling my eyes out during Wakanda Forever. Also, I don't care what anyone says but I now wholeheartedly ship _ship_ Rocket and Cosmo and will do so til the day I die. And, uh, hey Drax, whatever happened to your "sensitive nipples", hmmm? True dat. I think it's cuz she never got to have an identity of her own until they freed her from ego. Ego (her dad) forced his ideal purpose of her on her. He never gave her a choice ("a flea with a purpose"). But since she found her family with em guardians who allow her to be herself, she is free to develop her own personality traits etc😂 She seems to have copied some of Gamora's traits as well after spending more time with em guardian-idiots it seems lol

What's funny but also super-sad about that is that there was obviously enough time after the big battle for Mantis to meet and apparently really get to like Steve, but the Guardians may possibly have left Earth before Steve went off on his time un-heist trip, such that she might not even know he's on the M--- uh, I mean, dead.

I got so teary eyed when Mantis told Quill she was he’s sister and he was so happy about it! It was so cute and sweet!! And when Mantis mentioned Batman, that made me wonder if you’re also a DC fan. Also, “I Don’t Know What Christmas Is (But Christmastime Is Here)” is an absolute banger!

I think the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) can work, it’s just it’s really messy and you can tell there wasn’t a whole lot of thought put into how to do this like the MCU. James Gunn (who directed and wrote all the Guardians films and this) also did a movie and tv series for DC that both were positively received, and in November, him and Peter Safran (who produced the more successful DC films) became the new CEOs of DC. It looks like they’re trying to do a reboot, and as much as I love the casting for Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, etc., I do think a reboot is the best route given that Warner Bros. hasn’t had the best relationship with the fans as Marvel and Kevin Feige do. But I do trust James Gunn (given the Guardians films and his DC stuff) that he knows what he’s doing and it’ll all eventually work out.

LOL Drax's so obsessed with the zarg nuts. And the Santa song is great. LOL Drax and Mantis are hilarious together. Their experience in Hollywood was so fun. I love seeing how they bickered and how awkward they both were in their own ways. Mantis is adorable lol. LOL Drax's description of the candy cane is hilarious. LOL Rocket's anger at being called a raccoon. lol LOL love the meta references to actors too. The holiday special is so awesome. :). Happy Holidays

Of all the possible weird things they could've had on the Walk, someone not only cosplaying freaking Cy-Kill, but doing an amazing job of it was so far down the list of what I might've expected. (I watched "Challenge of the GoBots" as a kid, and had more of those toys than Transformers, presumably because they were less expensive. And then Hasbro bought Tonka, and ever since, you're most likely to see Cy-Kill in one-off appearances where he gets brutally killed for laughs.)
