The whole class laughed at me 😂 it’s funny now, but when you are a kid it affects you big time. So I lost interest in them. Been living in the US, I got gigs as a fitness model. Meet girls left and right. They call me a CHAD 🤣love my face and everything else lol. So apparently it wasn’t me. It was the Turkish girls who are messed up.

It is visible how Giulia had to resist her instinct to respond to the greeting, not only because she studied French but also because "bonjour" is often used as a joking greeting in Italy so it is a word that practically all Italians know. In fact, France and Italy are neighbors and have a very long common history, they even share 89% of their vocabulary.

@@sledgehog1It's in some Swedish dialects for sure. People from Stockholm sound like that with the I sound. But most others don't. There are quite large variations in dialects and I have an easier time understanding standard Norwegian than some Swedish dialects.

@@Gianluca- Well, most people don't gesticulate at all. None do in scandinavia, none do in France or slavic countries or asian. It's mostly an Italian thing, and "americans" are a broad term, they could be heavily influenced by italian culture since they have a ton of italians there.

As a British born who owns a bunch of Makita power tools who stumbled upon this video randomly I was just shook that Makita was a European name. ALSO the MOMENT she said "Hej" for hello I knew she was Swedish because I only know that from Ikea because I walked past an Ikea yesterday and near the entrance in big letters is says "Hej" with a small print saying it means hello in Swedish

Hej is pretty common in other parts of Europe, Balkans use Hej as well (but then again people from West Balkans have the same haplogroup as people from Scandinavia)
