This includes the areas outside of Sheffield (see our seoarate film on that city!). This includes: Penistone, Barnsley, Rotherham, Conisborough, Doncaster and out to the Humber headlands, finishing at the small market town of Thorne on the river Don Navigation.

perhaps, but Sheffield is very nice, especially the parts going out to the peak district. It's very underrated

Many true Yorkshire folk still refer to the area as the West Riding of Yorkshire, south Yorkshire only came about as a result of a political abhorration in the 1970's.
