In this video we will be discussing children’s behaviour, where it stems from and how our perception can change around it to assist the child in these situations. We, as adults must not allow our own emotions to fuel the situation, but rather use it as an opportunity to teach the child how to cope in those moments, by building their skills.
Children that display certain behaviours have underlying needs that are not being met, they also need to feel that we are present in that moment and are there to help guide them through.
We should all come up with a strategy to keep ourselves calm (even though it can be SO hard) in times where we would just prefer to lose it, so we can use these moments as opportunities for guidance & connection.

Does the behaviour become a reflection of respect for the parent at some point? How is honouring and respecting the parent developed? Is that a by-product of the techniques in this video?
