Another point to remember is that Emperor can harm other Stands, since the bullet is part of the Stand, so it can hit Stands, not only their users, while Sex Pistols can't harm other Stands, since Stands can only be harmed by other Stands.

I think you forget that the times we see Hol Horse needing a partner, he was outnumbered to begin with; He ran after J Geil was killed and was up against both Kakyoin and Polnareff. He was spooked as three out of six Crusaders were heading towards him during his second meeting. The one time he wasn't outnumbered was against Dio himself

I believe that in your assessment of Hol Horse's character, you left out/missed one crucial detail. During Hol Horse's confrontation with Dio, where his first intention was only to report to him, Dio begins to turn on him, using his all too familiar charm and imposing aura (the same kind that he uses to control all those who he seemingly doesn't control with money or flesh buds, ex. Maria, N'doul, Enyaba) in an attempt to scare Hol Horse into submission. While this does spook him at first, when Dio dismisses him, seemingly expecting him to go sacrifice his life fighting the crusaders alone, he turns 'round and points his gun right at him. As Dio later appreciates, as Hol Horse did this his breathing was steady and his hands were still. Hol Horse had fully intended to unload his Emporer into his employers skull, while said employer was a *vampire* capable of controlling someone who can literally summon and command *The Sun*. What I want to convince you of is that while Hol Horse is cowardly at times, mostly when faced with unfavorable situations, when he is behind the barrel of his emporer he needs no partner. Sadly this idea of mine wasn't much touched on, but I regardless loved that scene.

I think the reason The Emperor has an E in precision is because the stand doesn't control the bullets, the user does. Therefore the precision is dependent on the user rather then the stand.

My interpretation of the E in accuracy of Emperor is that the stand itself if fired normally (not using its power) is as accurate as Hol Horse is.

Come on, Hol Horse isn't stupid, he's realistic. He knows that without immense amounts of preparation, his stand can only distract opponents for a few seconds before they get too close and end the engagement. That's why he always partners up with a stand user who can better utilize Hol's gun.

imo another important factor is the Emperor is a stand, and therefore can likely harm other stands ; however mista's gun is just a regular gun and cannot do that, mista has to target the user himself for it to be useful

I think a lot of you are forgeting emperor biggest weakness: the fact that he needs to control the bullets, they are not homing bullets, they are controled bullets, so he needs to stay focus while shooting, thats why he always stand still while shooting, thats why he didnt shooted the crusaders while he was escaping in horse, and thats also why the bullet he shot to pollnaref lose his trajectory when kakyoin used emerald splash, because he losed focus. Thats also why he needs a main dps and he can only be a support character, because he has great offense, but if he is the main focus of an attack he is totally vulnerable. He knows for a fact that in a 1v1 if he cant kill his opponent with the first attack, he pretty much lose

I haven't read the JoJo manga, so I might be lacking some crucial info, but considering that The Emperor's bullets can evade even Silver Chariot's speed, could the Sex Pistols actually be used as defence? And if so, considering The Emperor's bullets can damage Stands, could Sex Pistols play around them without being damaged by the sheer kinetic force behind the bullets?

Emperor has an E in precision because the stand stats for it don’t take into account the bullet control aspect. It treats the stand as if it were a regular gun fired by a regular person. That’s my justification.

I like most of this however I think you got Hol Horse a bit wrong, he only freaks out when its obvious that he is going to lose not when he is by himself. He almost turned on Dio with out anyone being there to back him up despite not know what his stand even looks like because he had the upper hand being with in point blank range with Dio facing away from him, the only reason he didn't try blowing Dio's brains out was because he could sense that if he did he would be killed making the attempt meaningless. He is smart when it comes to his weakness, if he doesn't have some one helping him then there was no way he could defeat a whole group of stand users, but every time he was confident enough he stood a chance at winning he walked out in plain sight ready to fight. If he went against Mista it would be a bit different as he doesn't have the same intimidation factor as some one like Jotaro or Dio has and once he figured out how his stand works he would get confident in his abilities seeing that he has the better stand. After that Its hard to say, Mista is smarter so he does have the possibility to over come that weakness in stand power but all it would take is one lucky shot to destroy his gun and he no longer has an ability to fight back with out getting close. Not only that but Hol Horse can track bullets by himself while Mista relies on his stand to do it for him, meaning against Mista he actually does have a pretty good defense as he could tell where the bullets are going if he sees them and possibly attack Mista's stand directly by avoiding its hits to deflect his stand bullets. But in the end I do agree Mista would win majority of the time but just not 10/10, maybe some where between 6 to 8 depending on how lucky Hol Horse is during the fights.

since he's able to control the bullets, i find it reasonable that the emperor has an E in precision, because it's a gun. there's a lot of recoil, so it's not very precise. hol is able to control the bullets, which means that he's just making it move towards the target, and around silver chariot's sword.

Honestly tho, The Emperor would've been an absolutely broken stand, it's just that Hol Horse is absolutely braindead.

I think it's worth mentioning that, even though Hol Horse is a colossal fuck up, when he had The Emperor to DIO's head he was completely calm. That tells you something about a man.

Imagine if Mista somehow managed to switch bodies with Hol Horse, he'd be absolutely unstoppable.

The precision stat for Him Horse is unfair because of how the Emperor works vs how Mista's gun works with his stand. Since Mista's stand is the bullets and not the gun itself, stand, ie, the bullets can control where they go. So of course the precision would be an A and not an E. With Hol Horse, it's the exact opposite. The stand is the gun, not just the bullets. Both the gun and bullets are the stand. And because of that, the Emperor has ∞ ammunition instead of just 6 like Mista. Also, unlike Mista and sex pistols, the Emperor can't redirect it's shots, Hol Horse has to do that himself. With Mista and his stand, he can kinda just fire and forget and the stand will do all the work to hit a target. With the Emperor, the only work that Hol Horse would have to do is to control where the bullets go. And with a bottomless magazine and the ability to fire as quickly as he can pull the trigger and fire as many shots as he pleases, against most people, they'd look like swiss cheese in a matter of seconds. Also, The Emperor has very high recoil. Similar to a real gun. That also plays into the E rating on the precision stat. But again, to counteract that high recoil, he just controls where the shots go.

Hol horse would win because of the fact that whenever Mista shoots something or someone it always ends up hurting him instead.

I find that the biggest difference of the two is that Hol Horse needs a visual to target while Mista, just like in the train, can command Sex Pistols to individually search for the enemy even when he can't see it and they can plan for themselves as well. In other words, Emperor is fast and unlimited but Sex Pistols is sentient meaning it can adapt.
