Hi Shane! I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you, your teaching style and your song selection. You slow it down, then go over the challenging parts a few times and make everyone feel good about themselves whatever their level of ability. Personally I’ve started and stopped so many times in frustration and felt like a failure throughout many years. I started watching KZfaq guitar videos and other are instructors are good but then I saw you and you talk to me. You’re fun, your quirks make me laugh and I’m learning. My frustration levels are down because your style talks to me. As my fingers toughen up I’m able to practice longer sessions and I’m seeing progress. Someone told me when I started playing was, "the left hand plays the notes and the right hand plays the music". Anybody can learn left hand fingering, no matter how complex, it just takes time. The right hand is where all the magic is.
