It doesnt show so much in her current design, but her aesthetic was previously all about roses and guns, like a certain band. Now she's a death metal singer. If I-no more or less canonically plays guitar in her own theme, Elphelt more or less canonically sings in her own theme.

Fun fact, theres only one singer within this song. And shes incredibly talented (Also the amazing grace part is because her birthday is in december 25th.)

I love this song because it's impossible to feel sad when listening to it. It's like, I dunno, death metal comfort food. You caught the Amazing Grace reference but you missed the Mariah Carey reference. The reason for this is that Elphelt is born on Christmas Eve, lol. Daisuke is a madman genius. I don't know why we have a video game soundtrack with "Buckle up, rubadubdub yeah yeah", "The bee's knees" and "Blahblah blahblahblah blahblahblah blah", but here we are.

I just discovered your channel and you upload a video reacting to my favorite song in all of guilty gear. It's like Christmas came early For context of the character: Elphelt is a character that was artificially made to fulfill a purpose of being a sort of sleeper agent for the main villain (who she calls her mother) of one of the previous games. She has an obsession with love and marriage because she highly values the family she does have, that being her sister, Ramlethal, and her adoptive family that being Ky Kiske, along with his wife and son. In the story, Elphelt wanted to rebel against her mother because she was able to see the good in the world despite her original purpose. After the main villain is defeated, she lives with Ky and his family, but she views herself as useless in how she can't help her newfound family. This leads her to run away and form a death metal band on impulse caller Speothos Venaticus (the scientific name for a Bush dog, which is also her favorite animal!). She does this so that she can not only find love, but bring smiles to people's faces as a smiling face is one of her favorite things. Idk if this will be read or if it makes any sense outside of the lore of Guilty Gear but I just wanted to share some information on one of my favorite characters from this series Cheers :)

Yeah the Amazing Grace is super intentional because our character has a thing with weddings.

This song is the only song on the soundtrack thats sang by Molly Daisy, but if you liked this then you might like Aishas tracks! Aisha is the usual female vocalist on the games soundtrack. Necessary Discrepancy (which is actually a song about Elphelts sister!) is a prog rock duet between Aisha and Naoki, then theres Love the Subhuman Self which is all Aisha with a tiny bit of backing vocals from Jamison Boaz. The other songs of hers in the OST are equal parts pop and rock but they're all very amazing. Those remaining ones are: Disaster of Passion, Perfection Can't Please Me, and The Town Inside me Extras is actually one of the songs where I have something to point out with the instrumental. The line "I'm scared of the laughter but, I love to laugh myself" is sung to the tune of All I Want For Christmas Is You, which is likely a reference to how Elphelts birthday is Christmas Day. That last motif at the very end of the song (which appears throughout the song but it's easiest to point out the ending one) is directly taken from the intro to Elphelts Xrd theme called Marionette, which I'd HIGHLY recommend putting on your list I think it might be the best character theme in Xrd.

If you love listening to guitars, you should definitely check out Testament's theme (Like a Weed Naturally as a Matter of Course) and I-no's theme.

Glad you're enjoying Guilty Gear's soundtrack, mate. A little suggestion from me would be that you listen to Testament's theme: "Like a Weed, Naturally, As a Matter of Course". That one gives out some serious Megadeth vibes. But, trully, pretty much the whole soundtrack kicks bloody @$$. 🤘🏻
