Күн бұрынThis video is a compilation of the rare/funny lines of dialogue you can hear when the I Would Have Been Your Daddy (IWHBYD) skull is activated. It includes funny lines from the Elites, Grunts, Marines, Forerunner Soldier, Warden Eternal, and the Voices of War announcer Yabda the Merciless.
This was (I believe) the very first video I made compiling funny dialogue in a game, and I must say, I do cringe at some of the decisions I decided to make for it (namely, the colored text which can be more than a little difficult to read at times). Honestly, the editing process from then to know has largely remain unchanged, which is to say that this video was just as time consuming as the ones I am making today. Anyways, hopefully you guys enjoy the video.

so basically, Warden Eternal is just really sick of his job, the Prometheans all talk like 13-year-olds playing COD, the covenant are really concerned about the wellbeing of their heads, and Meridian is filled with soldiers that like to narrate what is happening and 1 guy who is really into sweeping. Nice.

Well.. technically all the prometians are actually human.. not forerunner.. just the humans from before the rings were set off. Though to be fair the librarian did say that when they tried to revert them back to biological form they became monstrosities. :P sounds like 12 yo COD gamers to me!~

they need to bring him back in infinate sweeping a base or something woth a laser broom. maybe just have him in a random room on a mission, completely out of place and confused with how he got there but still sweeping because it is UNCLEAN.

I love how the soldiers are just COD players, like "get rekt scrub" or "Hacks obviously" and "u w0t m8?", some people will complain but unarguably 343 has done a diamond perfect job on making soldiers immature children with intense vocabulary.

I think some of it is funny, but the cod dialogue is cringy and as if they didn't ruin the elites with their voice and design already, they also made them seem like idiots who are afraid in a lot of these

The Elites are now goofy, Forerunner soldiers are gamers. (Makes too much sense on some levels) The grunts are... the grunts, The Jackals talk, the warden is... Thanos almost, and the marines are poetic. Say what you want about Halo 5, but don’t say it doesn’t construct characters well. Outside of the MAIN cast that is.

Gunner Booth it's not third person, but rather first ... it's like they're narrating a corny novel out loud, in real time; "the Spartan locked me in his steely gaze", or something. Perhaps making fun of coffee shop hipster novelists, I don't know. Remember, 343 is from the Seattle area (Redmond). That's my guess.
