Squall is my favorite character from the Final Fantasy series, so naturally, I wanted to be a Gunbreaker. I was sad to see it was a tank and immediately became intimidated. This guide just gave me the confidence to live my dream character. Thank you! ❤

Great video! Love the help with early level abilities and rotations. The only thing is I think you put the icon for Danger Zone where you meant to put the icon for Demon Slaughter when showing the AOE rotation for 2 targets at level 50. I know it’s an old video but was just something I noticed. Please keep making such amazing videos! Really appreciate it!!!

As a new player, I'm very grateful for the breakdown you explain upon. When starting a class, I sometimes jump multiple levels VERY fast, almost too fast to where I don't fully understand my new kit. Red Mage was a nightmare but thanks to PotD, I learned how to use it and build on it. Looking forward to starting my first tank (I need to run Coils 2 for Moogle tomes but don't have a blue mage, don't judge me).

This probably isn’t smart, but GNB is my first tank class ever. It’s weird having enemies attacking me primarily when I’m used to avoiding them as a caster DPS

Endless Eclipse it’s a struggle in the beginning because you have to fight your learned habits of avoiding enemies. You can avoid AoE’s, but you have to make sure that you keep the enemies in place so people can hit positionals, and face enemies away from the party so any frontal cones they might have don’t hit the whole party. Just some general things I learned from my limited experiences tanking

Was always afraid to play Gunbresker due to the many skills. I have just started stormblood playing paladin and i said to myself i will master the gunbreaker no matter how hard it is. Your video helped me overcome the fear of many skills and fast rotation ❤️

I chose GNB since it’s really easy to learn with it’s only gimmick being the cartridges, and the class works quite like a dps that has mitigation. And honestly... DRK is a little too edgy for me. I wouldn’t be able to stand constantly making black glams for DRK.

Just got to lvl 60 as a new player, been playing DRK for 10 lvls, and it feels nice. Tried out GUN and they seem kinda complicated to play. Not sure if i should stick with DRK og GNB.

Im new to this game, currently leveling gladiator, and i cant find any information about when i unlock the gunbreaker job do i start from level 1, or from level 60 when i complete the quest, so hows is it?

When you hit level 60 on any class, you can unlock the level 60 version of Gunbreaker. The only reason you’d had a level 10 Gunbreaker or something is if you level scale for a Fate or Dungeon.

Can someone explain the thing at the bottom left of the screen which looks like it belongs in guitar hero? I'd love to be able to follow the rotation but when all I see on screen is guitar hero its VERY confusing. As opposed to just showing "Ability A > B > C > D" and so on.

by the way, if like me you ended up buying the full game instead of dong the trial, and also like me and you ended up doing all the sidequests and daily quests, and farmed to hell and back to get the augemented equipment for your current class and youre now lvl 60 before Heavensward even begins, you can totally pick this up, no need to wait until you get to Shadowbringers. Do keep in mind, it feels like I'm cheating lmao

Yes but you can still get synced down to lower Levels when doing duty Roulettes or low level fates

@@xmixaplix Drk has been out since Heavensward. And the whole kids table thing doesn't makes sense because its the same people who have probably been playing Og tanks like warrior. It just seems like you're trying to stand over people and act like you're better than them because your class is older or something, which I think is silly.

Boy do I have the Job for you!* Because this is the Internet, just to clarify: I am aware that there is more to Gunbreaker than just Damage-rotations, but I make the Same joke for Zenyatta and Roadhog in Overwatch, where it also is not directly applicable. Its a god damn joke people, take it with a grain of salt and move on.
