Hi, in this video i'll show all the Consumable animations in GUNSLINGER mod for Stalker: Call of Pripyat. This mod in addition to bringing new mechanics to the original game, it also brings animations for when you use consumables. In the most recent update, they added animations for the game's foods. GUNSLINGER mod is S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat weapon-related modification, which is not ordinary armory expanding or balancing mod. This mod overhauls the original first-person point of view to true quality vision with every movement looking natural and every weapon behaving like its real counterpart. Using items like med kits will be visible to you now, weapon jamming will have its own unique animation and upgrading your weapon will be another big point of your survival in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - every weapon have it’s own upgrade tree which consists of suppressors, scopes, laser sights and etc.

I always love when games animate containers actually opening. Too many mods/games have you eat a can of beans without opening it, drink a can of cola without it opening or drink water without the lid coming off

I think the animation for medkit changes based on how much health you have. When you're just topping off at like half hp he carefully injects into wrist, but when you're on the verge of death he slams it into his shoulder and it is significantly faster.

but when you use like a seva suit,its always go to the shoulder for some reason,prob dont wanna damage the suit or smth

Well lot’s of them are repeats of already existing animations, and I don’t think that adding more food and drinks would really add a lot to the game. Medications could be cool through, if they can, I’d like to see a similar amount of depth to Tarkov’s, but it’s troublesome to deal with Russian game coding sometimes.

when a mod has animations for opening cans, bottles, and boxes, but a AAA budget game doesn't actually animate the opening of items, resulting in the player just drinking through the cap.

@@loner9832 Well, most times, tushonka is being eaten right from metal can, but I personally used frying pan, and heated it with buckwheat. But I can imagine your idea, could be radioactively delicious)))

This eating sound is probably some stock sound found on a free soundboard, because it was used in original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.

Call of Duty 3 is console exclusive, and I tried to run it on an emulator, but it didn't work. I'll try to find a way to bring cod 3 to the channel.

@@evo33_gaming so it’s like when there’s a change in the atmosphere, possibly due to radiation or something, the medicine knocks you down preventing yourself from inhaling the deadly gases. Or is it the over way around where you are breathing out more than in and it does the same thing but vise versa.

@@autistichades5552 not to be 'that guy' but im gonna be that guy these are called anabiotics in-game. it shuts down your nervous system to avoid dying in an emission. the concept is based off of the scientists' observation of zombified stalkers having no functioning nervous system and them not being affected by emissions

but all this animation is kinda annoying when I'm in battle, like when I need to heal myself mid fight, the animation is delaying the healing and when ever the enemy hit me, the animation cancelled or back to start and my health point didn't recovered.

I love Gunslinger especially the L85A2 rifle in the game but in order to upgrade the L85A2 with Picatinny rail, the game forces me to upgrade the magazine to 40 rounds which I'm not a fan of, does anyone know how to turn off the annoying "preceding modification required" so I can stay with the 30 round magazine?
