Here is some unsolicited gun technique advice because that has never happened in the history of the internet… After a mag change, rack the slide rather than hitting the mag release. I know it seems easier and quicker just to hit the release, but by racking the slide you get the full action of the slide and increased searing pressure to reduce the likelihood of a misfeed.

I actually agree plus I feel the disengage of the slide by pulling back and releasing would replicate the act of it firing a round an seating the next. instead of releasing a mechanical part with a shorter amount of force than the actual blowback of a bullet being fired would do,also constant reuse of that part could cause you slide to not lock back correctly if you practice these speed trick reloads least in my opinion.

The weight of the spring runs the slide. As a result, it doesn't matter how you use the SLIDE STOP. Not to mention, this guy shoots 543-832 rounds a week. He trains more than your keyboard.
