Help me choose department according to fastest promotion from MTS

They'll Living on their parents money they just don't have any self respect and ambition to be a self sufficient person, not only money there'll be a plenty of time to study as well in MTS.

By the end of day it's not something you can brag about. If you think the job involves only doing files from one place to another then it's wrong. You can literally be asked to do anything. Sometimes senior officers misuse their authority to get their personal stuffs done by MTS guys. It's often really humiliating and you have to have strong hold on ur nerves to deal with their BS. 36k is not a very rewarding salary after all the hardwork you did to secure this job. Just pick a skill, learn it and join a startup, you'll be paid 25k at least. If your skill is really niche and in demand, you can witness a 100 percent hike within 1-2 years which means you will be earning way more than an MTS staff. 5 years down the line salary of MTS will not even be close to yours. If you can crack the job of sales in SaaS startup, you can be paid 10 LPA as a fresher. But either people are not willing to work hard or upskill themselves or they simply want money under the table.

@@100DaysExile As much as that's true idt anyone who comes into this line of study does it solely for the salary they get in hand. And yes, it's not brag worthy neither does anyone brag about it really, however anyone coming in here with the hardwork do it not to stick to this job but to use it as a stepping stone. Anyone who can crack MTS has a good chance with many other exams. And that's the sole reason this job is not just good but Great. Why? Because there isn't any gov job exam that has just one exam to crack and get in. If one gets into departments like CAG even MTS can go upto the highest of levels if they crack the in-department exams. In relation to learning skill, idt it comes free. And that's the main point with most of us aspirants. Our parents aren't rich, forget rich, we live month-to-month with no saving up. And here also comes in...the difference between private and government jobs Nothing, absolutely NOTHING gives the peace of mind that one gets from having a gov job. A sleep without worries? Only comes to gov employees lol You work for every penny to the bone in a private sector. You may earn lakhs, and? For one, there's no pension to secure yourself and one of the biggest loopholes is medical care. At some point you WILL be admitted in the hospital for something or the other and all those saved up lakhs from the private job will disappear like it never existed Unlike, gov employees would pay about few hundreds for lakhs worth of medicines or about 25k for tens of lakhs worth surgeries. So yes, you might need to put up with harsh treatment (very rare, MTS in any department and city usually have chill tasks, Havaldars have even less to do) if it's happening, but about a year or two max They're already 90% ready for CGSL or CGL if they crack MTS, the competitive exam that has the MOST amount of aspirants appearing in all of India'

You won't or rather CAN'T dream of as much study time you'll get as an MTS to have the same as a private job employee. It's a great stepping stone for any aspirant. Rather the best.
