PODCAST recap: generationiron...
In some ways, the core goal behind bodybuilding is control. Controlling your exercise to perfectly sculpt your body. Controlling your diet to help regulate your weight and conditioning. Controlling your poses to manipulate your physique into something that is displayed in the best possible way. For a bodybuilder, the human body is a machine that needs to be well oiled in every little detail. So it stands to reason that gut health, and the growing science around it, is something every bodybuilder should be paying attention to. In our latest episode of the Generation Iron Podcast, Victor Martinez discusses the do's and don'ts for gut health and how it can affect your bodybuilding career and lifestyle.
Bodybuilding, fitness, weight training - all on the Generation Iron Fitness Network!

Great video! I have been told by my doctor to eat the protein first due to the type on enzymes that digest protein is different. Protein is necessary while carbs aren't.

this was an interesting topic! loved it! one error though: dialysis is for kidney failure. for liver failure you get frequent paracentesis procedures-they have to put a needle in your abdomen and remove the excess fluid that backs up in your abdomen from liver failure.

The best thing to do for gut health is to stay away from sugar/processed foods/seed oils. Go for nutrient dense food if possible just carnivore diet so you can do 16 hour fasting and stay away from carb/vegetable inflammation and fiber which makes you shit more than once a day because your gut just wants it out due to no nutrition. Once you are on this for 90+ days you’ll be like this is how i’m supposed yo feel, less fat, less inflammation, no pain, its like you get 20-30 years back in life. Hope this helps a lot of people as I know I was once part of the unhealthy side.

I didn’t mention this in my other comment but once I heard the dairy is bad for you, it can be if you are affected by the protein in it. However I used to think I was intolerant but 90 days after I changed my diet/exercise etc I started using heavy cream to complete my caloric amount for the day and no issues at all lol if anything make a latte to press myself to get a restroom trip before leaving home and not feel the need during the entire day 👌

Im currently taking 25mg of Winstrol 25 mg Anavar daily... which is the low end for dosage. Should I stop? Is this enough to fuck my gut up, or worse? I am on hormone therapy outside of that, 200mg a week of test cyp.

A huge problem in Western countries is the height of the toilets that we sit on. It puts us in the unnatural position as silly as it sounds. I bought one of those squatty potty devices, and it has made a world of difference.

A lot of misinformation in this video. Humans are not intended to eat vegetables, fiber, roots, seeds, nuts, legumes. And that's just a glimpse of information on the human body. Red meat isn't bad, its the way the farmer raised its meat and that's what makes meat not healthy for consumers. You want 100% grass-fed grass-finished meats that are regenerative rotational grazing on pasture. And you also have to take into consideration of the Oxalates in vegetables and food because it can cause many health problems in the entire body from bones, joints, brain, gut, skin, and many other health issues and illnesses and diseases. It's Super important to keep in mind of mycotoxins, mold illnesse, mast cell activation, high histamine, heavy metal poisoning, environmental toxins, pollution, because that is a big part in health and gut health and many other issues and illnesses and diseases. Milk and dairy is actually healthy for the human body but like I said before its how the farmer raises the animal and the process of dairy. Raw milks and raw dairy is what you want to eat and drink for many health benefits. other then that this is a pretty cool video to watch.

Ive been seeing more of this and I dont buy any of it. Ive yet to see anyone croak from any the foods youve listed that come from the earth. Ironically, this info comes from westernized nations, specifically america, where most of the worst gut health can be found on the planet considering the obesity rate. You have nations that we deem as lesser that have a better life expectancy rate than us because of their more balanced diet of meats and veggies in addition to the prep. Most of my elders have seen 90+ years while eating rice and beans. So I think I'll do the same

Exactly... 100% true. no such thing as human guts are only for veggies and fruits.. that's a silly vegan soy beta simp theory.... its very difficult to get access to UnPolluted, Quality Meat, Vegetables and Fruits these days....

@@leopold43 beans are really bad. Rafffinose is a trisaccharide that are in beans and beans are Legume which are grown as a cover crop for animals like cattle. Then as humans we eat animals. Its not the other way around and You should look to other places to get your information. go look at a magazine that was from the 50 and see if you see an obese person and then open up a 2023 magazine and you will see a difference in the health. People back then and 100s of years ago food was high quality and people ate real 100% grass fed grass finished butter and meat and beef tallow, they were so much healthier.
@thevikingfarmerhd4039
@thevikingfarmerhd4039 Жыл бұрын
@@daveedesanta6318 Yeah quality is everything. A lot of people don't think about soil health and how the animals that everyone eats was raised. Plus whats actually bio available for the human body. I rather eat a 100% grass fed frass finished steak instead of vegetables and leafy greens that have more toxins and natural toxins that are not bio available and do more harm to the body then good. Thats one reason a lot of people have IBS And IBD is the way they eat because most disease and illnesses stem from the gut brain axis.
