Jesus Christ this is absolutely beautiful. What a performer, what a musician and what an artist. I hope I can see him at least once.

This is what I call the impossible skill level, all in the service of beautiful and interesting harmonies, melodies and rhythms, and incredible control and variety of timbres; stunning performance from one of the most amazing guitarists ever!

You have it the wrong way. Artists need to find their own Voice, Guthrie can Never be your voice, anymore than you can copy guthrie's voice. And you'd be wasting your time trying to copy him. Learn from him sure, but don't waste your time impersonating him.

Oh man Ive seen him 3..yes 3 times and met him on one of those occasions. When I saw him with the Aristocrats, they were so loud you could feel every note vibrate through your body. It was an amazing experience. And meeting him and talking to him is slightly weird because its humbling but he is a very humble guy at the same time. Still..it was brilliant to actually meet him. 🎸🎸🎶🎶🎸🎸🎶🎶🎸🎸✨✨

Great, but at a certain point, I say enough already, take a moment to breathe. Hendrix said something to the effect that the spaces between the notes are as important as the notes played. Cramming everything you know into everything you do shows a lack of restraint. Sex is not only the orgasm.
@pleasepermitmetospeakohgre15042 жыл бұрын
At last, someone that understands music isn't just a bunch of fast licks and fretboard exercises, it has to have room to breathe and evolve. This guy just seems a bit random to me.

@pleasepermitmetospeakohgre15042 жыл бұрын
Too caught up in fretboard technicalities, his tapping sequence for example. It sounds like an excercise, which it probably started out at, more than a song.
@russellparker56252 жыл бұрын
I must be a serious normie, because I just don't enjoy this. In my inexperience, it seems technical for the sake of it and completely unemotive. All science at the expense of art.
@java6203 ай бұрын
Lol, quite the opposite.. Guthrie would be the first to tell you that he’s not interested in technique for technique’s sake but moreso only if it serves the music.. I don’t know that normie is the way I’d describe your tastes.. you just like what you like and this isn’t it. Doesn’t make it right or wrong. 🤷♂️
