The mold is gone! Today we finish gutting out the water-damaged areas in our RV. We remove as much of the rotted framework from the ceiling and back bedroom wall as possible. We brought an 18V multi-tool to help us chop precisely through the weak, rotted wood and leave us with nice, clean cuts which we'll attach the new framework to. We also end up removing the window trim along the back bedroom wall to get a better idea of what we have to cut out.
There's a very special guest in today's video, Michael's dad! You'll get to know him well over the next few videos :-) As you'll come to learn, his smarts and experience prove to be a priceless asset in this renovation process. We cannot thank him enough for all of his help!
Sometimes you have to get creative and use tools in unconventional and unique ways to get the job done. Just think outside the box and you'll have it done before ya know it!
