it is the weight lifted off her shoulders ☺️ yeah! keep them lean and healthy. she lives her second spring! go squishy! it’s common for cats to get issues with their teeth without any visible signs (they hide the pain and many owners just think the cat gets picky with their food when in fact it’s too painful for them to eat. also be cautious with them only taking dry food, they can lick it up and chew with their molars or just swallow whilst the fangs or front teeth are rotting away under the gums) when the bad teeth are removed cats that didn’t suffer severe consequences (like loosing much weight specifically muscle mass) they act like kittens again and live a second spring if life - very cute 😻 senior cats are awesome. cuddly, silly and chill

I couldn't believe it when, after all the imagery of Squishy running up stairs, racing along the pathways, etc., and then hitting the 30 pound goal, he said it was her 12th birthday.! She's so lucky to have been adopted by Jimmy.

This guy needs to get at least one more dog for her to play with. I have 13 dogs, and they get lots of exercise by running around digging holes, barking at the horses and birds, and wrestling with each other. They eat as much as they want, and none of them are overweight.

Aw! Squishy is like a totally different and younger dog. To see her go from panting so hard while walking to jumping around and being playful is amazing. I'm glad that Jimmy was so consistent with her. He did a great job. And it was so thoughtful of him to even include stretching for her joints.

So inspiring I am on a journey to lose weight myself and need to get down to more healthy weight and I have been doing it I don't have junk food in my house anymore I used to drink pop like it was going out of style and now I down to a bottle a day (and that is if I remember that I told myself I can drink a can/bottle of pop a day I am currently on day six without drinking any pop) and I am dropping weight people are telling me you look so much thinner and all I can say is thank you I am currently saving for a new wardrobe at this point Thank you for the video just the encouragement I needed to keep this up

Squishy came to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue as Calla Lily. It's not uncommon to get overweight dogs who had guardians suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's. Just like people, all that extra weight is so hard on their joints. Thank you, Jimmy, for showcasing her weight loss journey!

This dog looks fantastic! The owner should get a medal for what he did. He loved her enough to made sure she was well. I don't think a lot of people who love their dogs can boast they can do this kind of thing. He cared enough to make sure she made her goals and look at her she is happy for what he did for her. Yes she put in the work but he provided love and patience for this dog that motivated her to lose weight. This is a story of love and strength!

My dogs are older and one has hip problems, she has put on some weight since we can’t walk as much for as long, so I adjusted her diet and she is where she is supposed to be. Dog weight gain is so hard on their bodies (joints and bones).

Great job some people just don't realise feeding your dog when ever they want is not good for them a dog will literally eat itself to death, as they say you have to be cruel to be kind, a fat unhealthy dog is not really a happy dog.

Very sweet! I had a dog who gained weight after he was neutered. My vet recommended only feeding him canned/wet food, to stop giving him dry food. And it worked!
