I love his face - his eyes are beautiful, he has gorgeous cheekbones, lovely unconventional nose, and those lips don't look like much until you see the end of North and South, and then... then you wonder why you didn't notice them before! He's so gorgeous - his face is so interesting; he's not at all a cookie-cutter hot guy - he has a unique appeal which runs deeper than that.

I think we believe Guy can be redeemed, and if you combine heroism with his already numerous attractions, what woman could possibly resist him? He'd be a guardian, protector, warrior and all round breathtaking specimen of manhood. And then there's his voice. By comparison, Robin seems like very nice boy to some of us.

I dunno...I've heard things like that are actually a good way to distract yourself & deal with grief. If I was that upset, I'd probably WANT to find comfort in the arms of someone who was that passionate about me. WAH...that whole thing made me sad.

I feel bad for Guy, he always genuinely loved her and all she did was seduce him.

He trusts her enough to let her go to the physician's without waiting for her to come out (unwise, perhaps, but it really shows how much he loves her). And she takes advantage of this trust and love to continually betray him and help his enemy. Sometimes I really hate Marian.

Thank you, I'm glad you defended Guy's actions in the finale! So you're saying Isabella reminded Robin of Marian (ie. she WAS a rebound) - I agree. And he didn't take the time to get to know what kind of a person she was before going around with her - so it was a lust thing. It wasn't to 'find happiness' - it was something to get over Marian's death. And I respect Guy the more for him not doing something like that.

It boggles my mind why Robin-lovers go to Guy/Marian videos and bash on Guy. If you don't like the character, fine, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but don't go to a Guy/Marian video and bash on the actor/character. Personally, I adore Guy and would take him over Robin any minute of the day and I don't know what ldioticlz is watching but Guy is hott as hell. He oozes maturity and sexiness whereas Robin is just a cute little boy.

I still think that finale was bad writing - as if Guy would have killed her! He has spent all of S2 risking his career, his position and even his life to save her. He spared her when he found out she was the Nightwatchman, tried to help her escape Winchester, thought he was rescuing her from Robin, and he came back to die fighting with her! Okay, back to Robin: what about Isabella? Snogging her was a pure lust thing - she wasn't a good person at all!

It's so sad. I was so for Robin and Marian, but after all the things Guy has donr for Marian...I kind of like him better. I mean, Robin and Marian are soul mates and all, but Guy treats Marian better than Robin does. So, now I'm really torn as to who I think she should be with.

Apparently the BBC isn't commissioning a 4th series, because ratings have been so poor for S3 - it's a pity, because I reckon Clive Standen would have been a good candidate for continuing the show - but I wouldn't have watched anyway without Guy, so I guess I don't really care...

That finale was bad writing - as if Guy, who has loved her for so long, and risked so much for her, would murder her! But I see that as a moment of madness - he seemed like he wanted to shut her up, make her stop saying those horrible things - and he succeeded, in the most tragic way. Immediately, there is shock, disbelief and grief. And if you watch S3, he stays far more faithful to her memory than Robin, who has not one, but TWO romances after his "beloved" wife dies.

"Just leave me alone" and "Don't touch me" are the best thing she's ever said to Guy. Really sad scene with Edward. Also the Robin/Edward scene was really sweet. But I suppose if he hadn't have died Marian wouldn't have been engaged/married to gorgeous Robin. Guy taking advantage of a grieving woman. Would actually be scary if she ended up with him. I love Marian's willpower and devotion to Robin. Guy oversteps the friendship mark and he sickened face when he says "in time" lol
