But when he met and joined the sheriff it was the worst mistake of his life. Notice how good Guy is when the sheriff isnt around. Guy is like a knight in shining armor in this episode. Go Guy .

I'm dreading it, but there's no way the writers will let Guy live now. A redeemed Guy is just too wonderful. He completely overshadows Robin (at least for many of us) How can Marian choose Robin now that Guy is willing to sacrifice his own life to stand by her.

I have not watched the episodes yet, but I am almost starting to be getting obsessed with the Guy and Marrian scenes. I love Richard Armitage!

Gotta say that this is my favorite episode for Guy in season 2 because he is so vulnerable and shows how much Marion truly means to him beyond his own life. He is willing to give so much for her that she doesn't return and it hurts. Honestly with the way she plays with both Guy and Robin I can't say I like Marion that much. Just my own opinion.

It was after 8:13 that I completely gave my heart to Sir Guy of Gisborne. I definitely think that he and Marian make a better couple than Marian and Robin. As Guy said in the wedding, her love for him will wash away his sins... He just wants to redeem himself, but he needs Marian to do so... My love!

This episode was to die for...heroic Guy! Just when you thought he couldn't get any hotter or more interesting, he pulls out the hero card! Robin, Robin who?

@kshanafelt: at the end of ep.9 Marian and Robin were trapped up a tree with the Sheriff's men underneath ready to capture them. Marian persuaded Robin to pretend he was holding her hostage and Guy did the heroic thing and 'rescued' her, which allowed Robin to escape while Guy took Marian back to the castle. Basically poor old Guy got played for a sucker again :-(

Which proof of love is supposed to be bigger than this one: "If I'm going do die, I'm going to die by your side"? This shakes up the heart of any woman. Totally agree with Dunnetan. There's no way the writers will let Guy live now. Guy will die (sniff) by the Marian's side and will be redeemed.

I'm leaning toward-- Marion starts to realize that she loves Guy-- and in the finale episode Robin Hood dies saving Marion & Guy--- Robin gets his "GLORY" , Guy get the Girl, and we get a redeemed Guy--

He found out she was the Night Rider and boy was he miffed. Now he has to watch her constantly to make sure she doesnt do it anymore.

RA thought it was way out of character, too. If you read or watch any of his interviews, he likes to repeat that he hated that scene. I have to say that I agree. Though, it made for a very poignant, thrilling finale. Plus, I'm not sure how I would have felt about a new actress playing Marian once LG was out. (LG told the writers she wanted out after the 2nd season before they started shooting. Dang her.)

My fear after watching previews is that Marian will betray Guy again and he will return to villainy in his disillusionment. My dream is that they get a "happily ever after" together.

I think it happened to put the focus back on Robin. The fans really love Gizz and M and it had become amajor distraction. I would have never watched more than one episode of the series if RA as Guy had not been in it.

Robin is unlikely to die no matter what. I think it more likely Guy dies saving Marian. Guy dying, and whether he is redeemed in the process, probably depends on series 3. I will be watching again when it gets to my town, but I am hoping I will want to rewatch lots more times, and that probably depends on Guy's fate.

I didn't like this episode. Not enough R/M for me as I love them lol. Guy's a bit too obsessive for me especially in this episode. G/M fans should understand that the writers made him to view her as his only means of being good (his saviour) And was too possessive. I never really liked Guy. I like RA but not Guy which is something people haven't managed to distinguish between. If RA played Robin, they'd all be Robin obsessed. Lucy and the Sheriff were great, as was my darling Robin.
