Reality is, he's actually at home right now. Either on the couch, or his bed. Once he finishes the 12 pack he just bought hours ago, he will immorally drive himself to the convenient store to buy more. He only goes to convenient stores because they have the cheapest 12 packs. He refuses to buy 30 racks because he's aware he has a problem and wants to quit, so 12 packs are easier on his conscious, and buying 30 racks is considered to be perpetuating his problem(though he might slip up every now and then and buy one or two during a heavy bender)

Here's a funny story, I don't like the taste of beer or alcohol, yet I have a huge tolerance to it. It takes an extreme amount of alcohol to even get me tipsy, much less drunk, and every once in a while I have to embarrass the biggest drinker in the crowd. Which is usually pretty funny, especially to their wives or girlfriend

Don't ever bet a guy who says he can drink a 24oz beer in less than 5 seconds without popping the tab. Fucker peeled the lid of the can off with his teeth, and proceeded to down the 24oz in 3.5 seconds. That was impressive enough to pay him the $10 and taught me to listen to the condition of the bet rather than the time limit. lol.

I had a neighbour who was a legit alcoholic. A case or two a night was his standard, and a bottle of hard liquor, and several ounces of weed. He'd wake up at noon, move to the garage, and start drinking and smoking. I'd get up to go to work at 6am and he'd just be going to bed, usually sweeping up the broken bottles from the road he'd throw at passing cars before he turned in. A couple of real shitty neighbours used to enable him bad as an excuse to have someone else to hang around drunk with. He's gotten much better in the years since he moved out, so there's a happy ending. I've got stories for days about him at his worst though.

@@billiea.9196 actually one story i have is of his trip to the hospital after he tried to quit drinking cold turkey, after less than a day he went into severe withdrawal and got taken away by ambulance. A liver function test was done, and aparently a healthy male of his age should have a reading between 18 to 79 (working off memeory here). His reading was 300. Doc said he wouldn't live til 2025 unless he changed.

Punched a whole in a while, urinated down the stairwell, etc. But he never got kicked out because his parents would threaten to sue the school. Now that was bullshit.

Lol yeah (not in college, got a job right after high school) we always had guys that would talk all kinds of trash about people taking chasers but only fill half the shot glass with smooth whiskey or something. I always brought my own Hennessy with me (I genuinely like the flavor of cognac so I don't chase it) so when Id hear somebody saying that, I'd go over and fill two shot glasses to the brim and say "alright man if you're so bad then drink this with me and see if you don't need a chaser" they'd always get the little alcohol coughs and start salivating like a sumb*tch and if they still didn't take a chaser they wouldn't really say much and just kinda shuffle away lol
