THE VLOG:
This is my Self Guided journey in the world of Vegas Casino Gambling. Please Enjoy.
HISTORY
For a very long time, I had been taking trips to casino destinations. I had gambled compulsively, losing thousands upon thousands but rarely ever return home a winner. The amount is significant for a person like me, a regular common working man, but it was not a huge problem because I was living in NYC which is not a Casino Gambling City.
When I took my trips to Vegas, I admit, I turn into a degenerate gambler, spending hours and hours gambling, most often because "I need to win my money back". The most common reason I stopped gambling for the day is that I was unable to withdraw any more money due to "daily withdraw limit" or I had used up all my markers. The worse it had ever gotten was around late 2019 when I had to take cash advances on credit cards to pay off the markers. I estimated that overall, because of the chasing, I was down around 300k.
In late 2023, I had decided to move to Vegas to facilitate my YouTubing, many people warned me, Danny The Medic, you will go broke if you move to Vegas knowing how you gamble.... As such, before my final move to Las Vegas, I had decided that I must do anything I can to NEVER end up in that way.
I must find out WHY I always chase the losses, and who I must become in order to live life productively in the wonderful city of Las Vegas.

You've got this, Danny. More than anything, women like guys without addictions unless they're in the same boat. That rarely ends well. I've only been to a few casinos on vacation, but it's enough to know that I'm like a rat in a Skinner Box. I go with $200 and want to chase my losses. I would never go to a casino by myself or outside of vacation. I'll also add that when I went to a casino, it was for a concert, as a group, with coworkers at a convention, my husband wanted to bet on jai alai. All of these instances occurred in a different state than where I live. Obviously, you're going to be exposed more, so I really admire your fight in this battle. 💪🏻❤

I told an older, out of shape, heavyset man who was interested in me, women like FIT men. He said, I bring a lot to the table, so I don't have to change anything about myself. I commend you Danny, for making an effort to making yourself stronger and more attractive. Nothing worse than people who don't want to work on themselves, physically or mentally. I've had these talks with myself. I take it you just encountered a heavy loss today. (or the day of recording) I'm glad you are taking a full break. Good for you!! Maybe you could pick up a fun form of exercise like pickleball or golf? You can vlog how you progress! Both of those sports are time consuming (although pickleball is probably cheaper in the long run). Regardless…you’re on your way to being a happier, less expensive, healthier lifestyle!

Danny, I sense frustration and some weariness from all your efforts to understand your problem. Probably because of my lifelong struggle with my own private Hell. Won't bore you any more. But have been following your attempt.to deal with your issues. After seeing a lot of thoughts similar . A lot. So after years watching and enjoying what Ytube offers, I posted a comment (first time, anywhere) a comment you responded to. It was rewarding in a lot senses, But I want you to know I support your efforts to understand yourself. I will all ways feel this. that seems interesting! 10k steps? I wonder how far that is.. I will google.. 10,000 steps is roughly equivalent to walking five miles or eight kilometers, depending on your height, cadence, and stride length. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Rather than the forearm motif for your next set of videos may I suggest " Danny the Medic has a new girlfriend ( girlfriends?)." You could include them in some of your food videos. I need to work on my forearms and upper arms. I’ll do it too. I’ll lift my dog Macy and my 2 cats. I’ll do those wall exercises where you put your hands on the wall and push your weight back and forth. As far as gambling, I have always thought it was rigged so I never gamble. I drive ladies to Harrahs in Murphy, NC but I never step inside because I don’t have money to lose! I’m not attracted to men’s forearms, I’m attracted to intelligence. Have a great day!!!

Food and Travel. Food and Travel. With the occasional sexual innuendo thrown in. Build your forearms by lifting the tap water, chow fun, dim sum, and $7.99 Burgers. Travel the outskirts of the valley and check out the food places there. And gamble when you feel you want to.

I think you are too hard on yourself. You can quit gambling, but as a single middle aged Chinese. I understand! There aren't many options that offer so many positive results from Gambling as well. You shud make a list and really try and find the good things that have come from playing. You have to have some fun in your life. You can't be a hermit, and you could die tomorrow. Seems like you have gotten control over playing, just enjoy life. It's a journey worth living.

you can't stop sweetie unless you get some outside help. The best thing you can do is just gamble 5 or 10 a day. That's what I'm back to . I get my fix with a small amount.

Since you’re not going to gamble for a year and no one wants to see forearm exercises daily, set up a vlog showing things to do in LV other than gambling or drinking. Hit the shooting range, check out a hockey game, etc
