The Majority Report w/ Sam Seder

Bob’s Burgers star H. Jon Benjamin calls the show to report on his talk with Tim Pool about Tim story about Sam freaking out because he's getting phased out of voice acting work on Bob's Burgers.
A few minutes later in the clip, Tim said that he doesn't really entertain any arguments with Sam because the last time they spoke he didn't know what solipsism, deontological moral philosophy, or utilitarianism were. Ian tries to defend Sam, saying that he's an "actor first".

Pop culture can have a place in having a philosophic theme in them but when they literally take the place of philosophy (like it seems to have done for many now) I think it stifles the impetus to have new philosophical ideas, if that makes sense. Smart enough to convince other perpetually terrified morons to sub to him and think he is a smart and insightful guy. I love how Benjamin admittedly does not know how to voice act, just voices himself, and animators write drastically different characters around the same voice and strike gold. I discovered Bob's Burgers about two years ago having avoided it for so long and it has utterly owned my soul ever since. People close to me are genuinely irritated at how many clips I post to Whatsapp. I think Tina Belcher has developed into one of the single greatest characters in cartoon history, and my Spotify list is choc-a-block with songs from the show. I think it's the most weirdly subtle, unique comedy show I've seen since...maybe ever, its humour is so strangely, gently absurd it feels like it was made for me. I love it, and even though it took maybe four or five seasons for it to really define itself and its characters, I hold it to my heart and count it as one in a tiny clutch of pop cultural artifacts that I would hand over if I had to define my tastes and the things I like. I honestly thought I was going to be able to worm in some kind of point to this that would bring us back to Tim Pool and Sam, but nope. I can't think of one - I just wanted to let Sam and Jon know how much the show on which they work means to me.

I actually finally met a person irl that is a religious tim pool viewer. He actually exclusively gets his news from tim pool. He's my former housemate's brother and he of course identifies as a far right conservative and Tim Pool is "The only guy on the left telling the truth.". talking to him went pretty much exactly how you would expect he knew literally nothing about anything and it was absolutely fascinating. The guy was convinced us inflation was the highest in the world and was pretty confused when i showed him how much lower it is than the global inflation index. He also said "Gas prices are the highest they have ever been in us history.". Again he was sorta just confused when I showed him historic gas prices adjusted for inflation and the whole thing was insane because gas is like 2.30 a gallon here right now haha. This guy was literally so gullible he overlooked his weekly experience of actually filling up his tank and instead believed tim's absurd hyperbole. He said "Biden banned all oil production and sales in america." and again, just absolute quiet bafflement when i showed him all the articles about oil leases being granted under biden and us oil output as well as pulling from the US strategic reserve which he didn't know existed. He said he could find "Thousands" of incidents of anitfa killing people in domestic terrorist acts. I offered him my laptop and he found one incident where a guy followed an antifa group on facebook killed his girlfriend in a domestic violence case but insisted "There's so many dead by antifa the news just doesn't cover it and that's why tim pool is so awesome." I opened up pool's channel on youtub eand asked him to find some of these cases on the show and he couldn't. This is your brain on tim pool.
