Ha Long Bay & Cat Ba Island were magic - Vietnam Video!

6 жыл бұрынWe got very lucky with the weather in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam! I heard it many days of the year, its cloudy and overcast, but two of the three days we were there, the cliffs we so clear, the water was so blue and it was perfect weather. The sunset in Cat Ba Island was seriously like nothing I have ever seen before. I also had an amazing time out to dinner with my tour guide and his friends - just happened to be in the right place at the right time when they invited me.

Thank you , I thoroughly enjoy your adventure. What a nice place. It beats going to Bethany Beach , or Ocean City. No traffic, but your back home by now, full of pompous Washingtonian's, metro, traffic, and finding a parking space. Once again , it has been a grand journey. Also I am so glad you did not get sick . Absolutely the greatest adventure!!!!!!

I love watching all your videos. I'm Cambodian but raise her in the US California since I was 4. I went back to Cambodia 11 yrs ago for a month. And oh my it was hot. Me and my husband went there in September and still hot. I notice that you work there for a few months. And I see that you travel to different county and I that's my dream. Out of all of the country you visit. Which one did you like most? And which one did you fell more safe in. Ya when I went to Cambodia with my family. They didn't not let us go any where by our self at all. I couldn't even carry my purse at all. They told me to put my money some where safe. Every time I go any where they have to take me. My husband is Guamanian and every time he see homeless he will give them money. American money like $1 or more. And when my aunt that live in Cambodia told us not to do that. Give them Cambodian money instead. But she told us not to do that so much cause once we give out to one there will be more coming. And yes I realize that after a week being there lol... I fell like Cambodia is a very poor country comparing to other country. I watch your video everyday. And always looking froward for you to post more video.

It is SO hot! Glad to hear you were able to visit. I felt safe where I lived in Battambang but was always careful at night. Phnom Penh is supposed to have bad pickpocketing, but I was only there twice for short trips and had no problems. More petty theft than we're used in most parts of the US (NYC excluded!), but I felt safe in all 4 countries I visited - Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. Thanks so much for watching!
