Last two stops in Laos: Vang Vieng and Vientiane! They were quick ones, and a little calmer. In Vang Vieng, I learned about its history and how it used to be a party backpacker town, but has since calmed down. I did the typical tubing through the mountains in Vang Vieng. I was really glad to have the Stray tour show me the sights in Vientiane when we arrived so I had the rest of the time to relax. Marie and I went to a dance workout class along the Mekong at sunset with the locals! I really enjoyed the Stray tour and was sad to say goodbye to the awesome travelers I met, but ready for Vietnam!
