From a Greeks opinion , hades and hades 2 had nothing to do with Greece. Animated characters in a multicolored game mean nothing. Most people can't take seriously an animated game. For us Greeks the butchers in Netflix that destroyed Cleopatra and Alexander are the prime representators of the woke culture. I saw the hype for this game, and everything seems very modern day generic, including the music. God I'm getting old and grumpy, haha. Didn't realies it had woke in it until now. Some of these god designs are terrible.

Greek here, if you see ancient Greek statues of the Greek Pantheon they all have distinct Caucasian characteristics than African ones. But in the eyes of those weirdos no matter what the history books tell them their grandmother told them that all great historic characters real or fictional are black.

Having some Greek gods with darker tones of skin wouldn't be odd since mediterranean people's had a lot of skin tones, but we all know that they are doing this just to tick boxes, hence why Hestia and Hephaestus look the way they look in the game. The fact that it is not honest it is annoying. And it is a shame because the charaters do have cool designs on their clothes and themes which shows that the artists did do their research about them and can be creative, and then they put in some mandated things and use those things as the main marketing point.
