Hard mode: Starting line-up: OH/Captain: Sinsuke Kita OH: Asahi Azumane OP: Osamu Miya MB: Rintaro Suna MB: Koji Hiroo S: Toru Oikawa L: Morisuke Yaku Bench: Tamahiko Teshiro Kazuhito Narita Hisashi Kinoshita The overall playstyle is a mix between Karasuno and AobaJohsai that is capable of beating Shiratorizawa using similar tactics to Karasuno's. The more I think about it this starting line-up is super difficult to play against. The weakest player in serve receives is Asahi who isn't bad and serving at Oikawa or Osamu doesn't accomplish anything as the other follows up with a great set. On offense we have two great setters with plenty of options Asahi's power, Suna's amazing quicks and both Osamu and Oikawa can spike well too. The team also has 3 strong jump serves and a jump float (Hiroo) in the starting line-up with two pinch servers on the bench. Rounded out with the captain Kita (aka "Mister No Gaps Kita Shinsuke") who is a great all rounder like Daichi. With this line-up we are giving Oikawa his chance at nationals with a team that would go deep, probably quarter finals or further.

Thats why I'm pretty sad about the timeskip. So much could have happen. The leaving of the third year will break Karasuno. And a lot of things could happen: - Tanaka and Hinata battling to be the new ace, spoil, Tanaka win and Hinata learn an important lesson from it: "why do I want to be the ace ?". - Hinata as wingspiker instead of a middleblock as he develop his skill. - Ennoshita trying to be replace Daichi until he understand that he should be himself. - Tsukishima fighting higher, playing with way more energy than before would find his physical limit as shown during season 4 against Dateko, he would try to go past it. - New promising first year due to the amazing perfomance they had during National, why not a foreigner by the way ? Could add a lot to the show, even more if he is brazilian or just half Main line up would be: WS: Tanaka, Hinata, Ennoshita MB: Tsukishima, (Could be an ideal place for a new promising player) S: Kageyama L: Nishinoya And i'm not even talking about their prefecture. Aoba Josei and Shiratorizawa lose their best player, the meter guy become a good player, Dateko become the best team. Top team fall while the lower tier rise.

Why dosent this have more views? I honestly loved this video, the editing was amazing and a cool system. I think you should've spent that extra 1 point on ushijima instead of Bokuto and replace fuktakchi with aone if you have enough points.

Komori is a Libero that recovers and receives any attacks, attempts, and more. He is the mastermind of the back row, and helps maintain the name of their defensive team. On the Bench, they have Koganegawa, a supportive setter that has the ability of a Middle Blocker. Once he is put in, he changes the wave of the play, and helps with defense and blocks more than Akaashi. Narita is a Middle Blocker that has great support with his Game Sense once he is put in. And finally, Kinoshita helps with a touch of his Jump Float Serve on the offense part of the team. Sakusa is fitted for the Ace spot, leading lots of points to the team. Sasaya is a great supportive Wing Spiker that has great Technique and Game Sense, being very experienced and an all around over average player. Kunimi is a Opposite Hitter that is very intelligent, just like Kenma, he is also very calm and conservative on the court. Hiroo is a great Middle Blocker, with nice Technique and Game Sense, supporting with his Jump Float Serves. Tsukishima is an over average smart Middle Blocker that supports the defense of the team, and lifts the offense up a bit more. Their Libero, Yuu Nishinoya is a great pillar of defense, supporting the back row, and all of the receives and attacks from the opponent. On the Bench, Sugawara is a setter that can change the style and rhythm of the game, with great intelligence and Game Sense. Narita has nice Game Sense as a Middle Blocker, and can come in handy various times. Asamushi is a Wing Spiker with nice powerful offense, but Game Sense is not on his side, lucky thing he has Kenma and the others. Well, you've reached the end! Soooo did you like my made up names? Oikawa is the cornerstone of this team he leads the team in two separate half’s, the defense and offense. He controls the offense sharply but let’s Tsukishima set the timing for the blocks. Tengo, Tsukishima, and Kenji serve as a strong defensive wall with both Kenji and Tsukishima used to make the occasional kill. It has been shown that Tsukishima is a capable attacker when given the right type of serve and pushed to his limits in a respectable amount, these are the sets oikawa uses to give his team full strength. Tengo acts as the occasional instinct for the defensive wall when Tsukishima and kenji analytical style of blocking fails, though oikawa keeps him in line as a team player, Tsukishima is the leader of the defensive blockers with his strong mind and sharp eye. Kenji is capable as a defense member but he still compliments the wing spikers nicely. With oikawa knowing how to naturally use the middle blockers as decoys and superior height. The team mainly prioritizes defense but for offense they use individual specific skills that are used to disorganize the other team so that there counters are weak. Mad dogs crazed attacks are effective under oikawa’s guidance and he will know how to direct him. Azumane’s back row attacks and powerful serves will help break through offense and he serves as a nice consistent WS. Nishinoya is the main back row defense and his ability to set will help when oikawa can’t and he has especially good synergy with Azumane. Oikawa is the leader, Azumane and kenji are team players and Nishinoya will follow Azumane, tengo and mad dog’s wildness will be directed by oikawa and Tsukishima will lead the blocks allowing tengo to use his own skills when needed. The serves function to put further pressure on the other team so that they mess up there sets, oikawa’s precision and power, Azumane’s aren’t especially consistent but they are powerful, mad dog’s is also especially strong, Kenji’s is formidable and Tsukishima’s is passable. The bench Meanwhile has two float servers and the ceiling server the later being especially unseen by many causing disarray. Overall powerful blocking, with varied (but admittedly a little inconsistent) attacks spearheaded by Oikawa’s Game sense, and serves as a prominent form of attack.

Since a lot of the players I would have picked haven't been shown yet I'll come back later. But when I do make my team I'll put it around defense, blocks and receives will be the main priority, score points off blocks and pick up all spikes and serves. Some players I'd put on my team are Kuroo, Daichi, Futakuchi, Tsukishima, and a few more.

Medium mode: Starting line-up: Setter: Tobio Kageyama Wing Spikers: Reon Ohira, Tsutomu Goshiki, Kenji Futakushi Middle Blockers: Rintaro Suna, Tetsuro Kuroo Libero: Yu Nishinoya Bench players: Tadashi Yamaguchi, Taro Onagawa, Hisashi Kinoshita Kageyama feels like an obvious choice as a setter. He has his flaws as a person, but those rarely come along on the field. There he's a fast learner, is mostly keeping a very keen mind and has a great overview over everything that happens. I don't think there's anything he does badly and he would be the glue that holds the team together. Though my collection of wing spikers lacks any obvious ace like Boguto or Ushijima, they definitely aren't lacking in skills and strength. Ohira would probably take the position as the ace at this point and I don't think he'd be bad at it. His spikes and serves are powerful and he seems to be a very solid player overall with a calm mind even in stressful situation. Opposite of that would be Goshiki, who's a way more tempered individual, but he still is a very good player with high stamina and enthusiasm. Though Futakushi didn't stand out as a wing spiker, he still wasn't bad by any means and his biggest strength is his contribution to the feared iron wall, which will work nicely with the middle blockers as well. Rintaro Suna probably was among the scariest blockers due to his speed and reflexes. He's very calculating and puts much stress on his enemies, being able to sort out those he's able to break. Kuroo is just very good at what he's doing and would probably end up as the captain as well, as he's already doing a great job with this in his real team. He and Suna would probably be a killer combination as they both seem like natural experts when it comes to blocking and like Suna he's very good at pressuring opponents. Together with Futakushi they could form a potentially even better iron wall than the one Date Tech is known for. Nishinoya is just an amazing libero as well and though he's immature outside of the games, he seems more than reliable in the games themselves. He would be an amazing back up if any ball gets through the already amazing defense and he can receive even some of the most dangerous serves with a little bit of learning. For the bench players, Yamaguchi and Kinoshita can perform nice serves that could give the team nice points in stressful situation an though we haven't seen much of Onagawa, he seems solid enough as a substitute. I feel like it would be without a doubt one of the best teams in the series with a focus on strong defense, a promising offense and possibly several tricks up its sleeve, as most of these players have a great understanding of the game. Especially with Kageyama who's able to really bring the best out of his teammates on the field this team would be very consistent and well rounded as a group.

This is an awesome idea, would have the likes of hakuba if this had more players from nationals. One I think is a steal is hyakazawa unless we are basing it off this time at nationals. As you know, he does go very far. Onaga at 5.5 is also great when you consider his ending place

Hard Mode Ace: Motoki Teradomari (8) WS: Kentaro Kyotami "Mad Dawg" (7.5) WS: Osamu Miya (8.5) MB: Takanobu Aone (7.5) MB: Satori Tendo (8) S: Tobio Kageyama (9) L: Yuki Shibayama (5) Did him dirty bro he not bad like come onnnnnnn Bench: WS: Shunsuki Kita (7-3=4) WS/RS: Hisashi Kinoshita (3.5-3=0.5) S: Yoshiharu Haga (3.5-0.5= 0.5) I tried to base this team off of players yata kun valued a little less then he should of and underrated or underused characters in other peoples draft. I choose Motoki as my ace cause while yah sure Tsubakihara got swept 2 nothing by Karasuno, he spiked above their block which has Tsukishima and Kageyama who are a godly blocker and blocked Aran Ojiro a top 5 ace respectively. Mad dog is playing opposite spiker not only is he ambidextrous he also is probs one of the top 3 strongest like strength players we've seen. (Also the op parallel approach). Miya Osamu is my third wing spiker, he plays opposite hitter, I mainly added him for more defense he's shown to have good reflexes and a pretty good recieve he was able to get under Kalmgeymamas serve and is able to play back up setter, I originally had hyakuzawa here but that would leave a cripplinh hole in my defense. Aone is the major blocker of the team and while his offensive is usually good when we see it, as well as his jump serve adding along to kags mad dog osamu and maybe teradomari would be an amazing serve core that would leave the opponents with broken arms. Tenduo is a mean guess blocker, he is able to stop the freak quick attack and I didn't really see anyone use him which doesn't really make sense he crushes the other team's morale and while makes a few mistakes is one of the best blockers in all of haikyuu, him Aone would make a pretty potent block. Okay why no one using kags he is the most talented setter and overall can deliver the ball to my hitters and use them in innovative new ways, I feel that him plus mad dog using his left hand would be at the level of power of ushiwaka and he could even set Miya up with a freak quick while it may take a while to develop the trust osamu has been shown to be one of two people who can hit a freak quick. My libero is an underrated boiiii Yuki Shibayama, he is the backup libero for nekoma and is amazing in the OVA after Yaku is injured yuki is a little nervous and then picks up BOKUTO'S spikeee who is a top 5 ace, he is only 5 points somehow and honestly should be around 6.5 he is able to anticipate bokuto just like yaku and is in my opinion essentially a nationals level libero. Bench player number 1 is Kita, I always planned to put Kita as a sub the second I saw he was legit only 7, while this is still pretty high I slapped him on the bench since he as shown is already accustomed to being on the bench and keeping the others in line when he enters the court. Kinoshita is kinda a "meta pick" for this draft he has a pretty good work in progress float and serves as a prevolution to Tadashi as well as being cheap I was able to squeeze him in with kita. Yoshiharu Haga may not be familiar but he is a setter on Tokonami high the one with daichi's old friend he is just a backup setter and any of the 3.5 setters would have worked I just choose him for the tiniest of sentimentality. Other useful info: Captain: Kita he's the captain of Inarizarki and is the most level headed I had 2 points leftover from starters so I could of had slightly better players but I think this team could still take on. miyagi and nationals.

Normal mode Team philosophy: Consistency, Balance, F U N My team was very similar to yours so I think you did a pretty good job Setter: Akashi 8 points Wingspiker/ ace: Bokuto 9 points Wingspiker: Captain: Kita 7 points Wingspiker: Futakuchi 7 points Libero: Yaku 8 points Middle: kuroo 8 points Middle: tendou 8 points Total spent 55 out of 55 now for the bench Bench: Semi 4 points, Narita 1 point, kinoshita 1 point Alright I think my teams solid with akashi as a dependable setter who I would say is as good as oikawa minus his serve plus he has connection with bokuto, and kuroo. Our wingspikers are very good with bokuto be a great scoring option and obviously one of the best aces in the series, Kita being a good foundation and a great leader him and akashi both can stay calm and cool and could direct the team. Kita also is jack of all trades/master of none type of player very solid in every aspect of the game and not really bad at anything he and akashi will have to deal with the rowdy players (tendo Kuroo bokuto). Last wingspiker is Futakuchi who is a solid scoring option, but more importantly makes our blocking crazy, which moves us on to the middle where we have kuroo and tendo who 1. Will probably mash well together and 2. Be a great blocking tandem especially with Futakuchi there. And both of them have shown that they can go out and score. Next is our libero which is yalu he takes our already solid ground defense and boost it to the next level. Aswell he has chemistry with kuroo and probably akashi and bokuto to. Lastly our bench which overall is pretty solid semi can be a pinch server or a solid replacement incase akashi is tired or injured overall he is a really good bench peice. Narita works well incase one of our middle blockers is feeling off (Tendo when his guess blocks aren't working) he did and decent job against shiritorizawa when tsukii was injured and is a decent bench piece. And finally kinoshita who is a solid pinch server and that's about it (Its ok I cherish you to kinoshita) My team is at least a top 4 in nationals its defense is amazing with bokuto leading the offense and a great setter in akashi plus guys who can go out and score whe they want to as well our offense is really good. Our serving is pretty good with Futakuchi bokuto kuroo all having pretty good jump serves along with semi on the bench and kinoshita who has jump floaters. Anyways that's all what do people think?????

The blocking there is fucking insane, the recieving is also above average with players like nishinoya, oikawa, asahi and hoshiumi protecting hyakuzawa from serves and such. The offence isn't anything to scoff at either with some nice oppurtunities with oikawa giving kuroo and aone quicks and the wing spikers just destroying literally every blocker

My team is based on height, potential and high offensive capabilities. (Hard mode) 1. My setter is Oikawa for a team based on potential and height he is the best choice by far, he would be the Vice captain 2. My choice for the first wink spiker would be Bokuto as Akaashi said he can’t draw out Bokutos true potential due to him not being that good of a setter and Bokuto is still top 5 material now imagine Bokuto on a 100% that’s exactly what Oikawa can draw out. (Outside) Captain (so he doesn’t get offended) 3. My second wing spiker would be Hyakuzawa due to him being really tall and a good hitter, he is clumsy and lacks experience but he is going to have a in my opinion underrated libero to swap with so no problem. (Outside) 4. My third wing spiker is Osamu as my team is a little weak when it comes to setting other then Oikawa he is a great choice, he is a great receiver too and his serves are vicious (Opposite) 5. My first middle block is Lev he is a really tall player with incredible strength, he lacks experience but the other middle blocker on this team could be a great example for him and if Oikawa drew out 100% of his spikes he would be a force to be reckoned with. 6. My second middle blocker is Rintaro Suna the middle block of Inazaraki high he gets into the game a little slow but then he is really hard to play against as his blocks get better and better and he is a great spiker too. He can receive too 7. My first bench player is Yamaguchi because of his float serve, don’t get me wrong we already have 4 monster jump servers but 5 is better than 4. 9. Kinoshita is an other jump server and he can be quiet useful, as you can see my team isn’t made up of great receivers but karasuno is known for its great receiving so that’s why I chose him. I focused on defense and athleticism for most of my team. Akaashi is kinda an exception but he's an excellent setter with no frills. Daichi is obviously the teams captain and takes care of service reception in the place of Tanaka. Hoshiumi is the teams ace and top scorer. Since the other hitters are more variable, I would expect him to run many back row attacks with Akaashi. Tanaka is Tanaka, powerful hitting and quick chase down defense. Hyakuzawa usually plays OH but I put him in the middle where he begin bein belongs. He and Lev would not get set too often and are mostly there for blocking but once ignored they can both score easily. Nishinoya is Nishinoya lightning quick reaction speed and sick plays. For m my bench I took the players who have proven themselves. Shibayama has lots to learn but can fill any defensive role. Yamaguchi and Kinoshita because I'm not letting my middles serve. Edit: I wanted to note how well future proofed this team is. They have a ton of 2nd years so after the current season they should get even better.

Oikawa has a dangerous serve that can blast through the opponents defense. I know that my ace isn’t really a superstar or something but he gets the job done. He managed to get through the blocks of Karasuno in the training camp and is shown to have a jump serve which in the manga during the Tokyo semi finals, a nekoma player called his serve vicious. Goshiki is a good player with a stable jump serve. He has awesome straight shots and is seen to be decent at receives. Konoha is a well rounded player that can set and fient the blockers. Kuroo is one of the best middle blockers in the series and is shown to have stable receives. He also has a decent jump serve. Lev Haiba is mainly for offense. He can help Yamato Sarukui if he is having troubles with the blockers and is shown to be good at blocking. Although he does get fainted easily I think Oikawa will maximize his offense. Motoya Komori is the best Libero so I have to bring him here. Now for my bench, Wateru Onaga is a starting member in a team that got top 2 in the Tokyo finals. I would swap him with Goshiki when he gets in the front If my team is having troubles. Also he is around the same height as tsukishima so that is always a bonus. Kinoshita and Yamaguchi are mainly for when Lev gets in the back.

Hard mode Let me know how I did! I think I put together a decent team within the parameters with a strong defense (mostly blocking) with some solid offensive choices! I made sure to have one per team within the point parameters from the draft board. Starters: S: Toru Oikawa. (can't decide team captain between Oikawa or Kita) L: Motoya Komori. MB: Tetsurō Kuroo. MB: Takanobu Aone. OppH: Asahi Azumane (probably the ace) OH: Tsutomu Goshiki OH: Yudai Hyakuzawa (53pt total) Backups: WS: Shinsuke Kita Setter: Yoshiharu Haga MB: Sōma Oyasu (5pt total) My general idea with this team is a team that can block effectively at a national level with decent tools for attacking. A consistently powerful wall with my 2 strong choices for middle blockers able to form up natural walls with the tall players always available. I think I have a strong lineup of receivers except for potentially the first years Yudai who I would sub out the backline constantly with Motoya Komori the best setter available. The serves from this team would be strong with Oikawa, Aone, Asahi, and Goshiki all able to perform strong jump serves. The offensive options on the team would be nothing immensely special but definitely not weak, as the variety of attacks available from Yudai, Goshiki, and Asahi would all prove effective under the command of Oikawa, who himself would be able to get the best out of all these spikers. My backups are nothing really great except for Shinsuke Kita, a great all-around player who would be able to refresh my team or fill in a gap defensively if the need were to arise as he is a good all-around player who doesn't crack under pressure with a good game sense. With this team, I think it would be possible to attend nationals as the team is strong enough to provide a reliable defense, aware enough to address and solve solutions, has just enough tools in its arsenal for a setter of Oikawa's caliber to bring to the national level. This was really fun to make (I decided to make one before I learned the team Yata Kun made so I could compare!

I chose hard mode (53.5 points) Players: Setter - Oikawa 8.5 Outside Hitter (ACE) - Bokuto 9.0 Outside Hitter - Fukunaga 7.0 Opposite Daichi (CAPTAIN) - 7.5 Middle Blocker - Tendo 8.0 Middle Blocker - Onaga 5.5 Libero - Nishinoya 8.0 My teams Philosophy is Consistency and Balance. I think the players I chose are all balance in all aspects of the game besides Onaga. The more I think about it this team would be really difficult to defeat because of the defensive players like nishinoya, daichi who have had their clutch moments. The only slight problem is the middle blockers but it really depends on the rotation that this team lays out. Oikawa, Bokuto and Tendo and the front would be insane both offensively and defensively. Bokuto is a top 5 ace in japan and being paired up with arguably the best setter in the whole of haikyuu, Oikawa is known to make a strong team invincible or in general make individuals better so having these two together on one team would be difficult to beat. In terms of serves only two can do a jump serve while the rest can only do basic serves. The whole team dynamic would work so well the more I think about it like tendo and bokuto would be fun and nishinoya and bokuto. All the players compliment each other very well and I think this team could make it as far as the semi finals of Nationals.

Korai as the ace with his incredible jumping and mid-air technique whilst also being reliable on defence, Nishinoya as a superb libero who can also offer a setting option if Oikawa is forced to receive, Kuroo and Aone are both incredible read blockers with fast reflexes, Asahi is a very strong, tall hitter with a great serve and good defence, Futakuchi is a tall WS with great blocking technique and a good jump serve, Oikawa is a brilliant all-round player with a great ability to use the players around him to the maximum plus he has arguably the best spike serve in the series, Sugawara is a very good impact sub with not only has a good float serve but who is also a very good setter with a good mindset whilst both Kinoshita and Yamaguchi possess a great jump float serve. This team could win at nationals as they have all the tools necessary. A reliable ace, a fantastic setter, strong hitters, great blockers and strong impact subs.

Daichi is decent in defence and has alot of experience. Kuro and suna both really good blockers who do not have weaknesses like trust their feelings or smthg. Yuki is good but yaku took his place as a libero in nekoma, but no problem because the team has many well defenders. Bench is shit, but no one cares about the bench

As Pinchserver or Secondsetter he can bring another Rhytmn to the Team an help in difficult Situations. MB Chaya and Libero Sakurai are from a weaker Team, but stood out there - so i see some Potential to develop them into solid Teamfits like Hiroo (Nohebi)!

It has also an increadibly good offense. Altough lacking a in recieve the blocking can compensate it as well as Shinsuke. I would but Hyakuzawa out of serve recieve and would but Ushijima in. Its a bit unfortunate that Ushijima cant focus only in spiking but he is really good at recieving so it is a plus for my team. Weakness: Good serving teams

Tbh I think oikawa is a great choice but for wing spikers Hinata and hoshiumi and bokuto would be best. The rest is good but you should’ve added a pinch server in the bench like yamagutchi

Since i read the manga i might think to highly of some people but my team would look like that on easy mode. The team doesent have the craziest block or the best reciever but everyoen is atleast decent at everything. I took Atsumu over kageyama or oikawa bc he has some crazy attack moves.. especial with osamu.. but i think i could still work with nishinoya since we all know that nishinoya can set. As Ace i just wanted somone that can easily fight a 3 man block. Bokuto might not have the power to just get trough it even tho he is super strong but he has the skill. Kita is just allround a super good player and he doesent care against who he plays he wont choke. Iwaizumi is another pretty hard hitter but hes also good in defense. Aone would be a good 1 on 1 blocker since hes very fast and reacts to almost everything and we all know what preassure he can create. Suna is a bit like hinata, he scores a lot with his quicks so that makes him a good decoy especially since u cant beat him 1on1, hes also a decent blocker. As Libero i took nishinoya over everyone else not just because hes really good at recieving but he can also set for a suprise attack with atsumu. I didnt want to take pinch servers for the becn since we already have strong jump servers with bokuto/iwaizumi and a suprise jump floater with atsumu so more jump floaters would be kind of a waste imo. So i choose players that could come on the court in case something happens to the starters. The pinch libero yuki shibayama (nekomas pinch liber) is overall a pretty good libero.. obv he had yaku as teacher so his recieves are good but he also got some nice speed. Koganegawa as pinch setter so theres still the option for a 2 setter play and to get a higher wall in case we need it. And kinoshita well hes 0.5 points.. but he also works as pinch server since he does know how to use a jump floater.

Dreamteam for me, Actually i give a shit about the points 😀 Setter : Miya Atsumu, he's very good player, everyone knows that OH : Korai, he's also fucking good, he's jump is higher than Hinata (before timeskip), and he's the real Little Giant OH : Sakusa, All rounder player, that's why i choose him OPP : Hinata, maybe if u compare to other Players on my team, Hinata is the weakest one, but he's very ambitious, and he'll become a strong player MB : Kuroo, He's Block is very good and he's also can do jump serve MB : Suna, he's quick spike version, when his using the entire body for spike, argh i can't L : Yaku, no comment for this his a good Libero, and of course i love it Yes, i have 3 short Players Bench : -Kita shinsuke, he's gonna be the captain and the momentum changer -Yamaguchi, i like when he's become pinch server, not to good but i like the playstyle -Inuoka, u remember nekomas MB, that Hinata afraid of him I want to make Nekomas team, but stronger version, if u realize, every Players on my dream team, had a good receive skill. Note: this was posted here accidentally, it's using the updated season 4 roster Hard Mode: Starters Libero: Yaku (Nekoma) 8 Setter: Miya (Inarizaki) 9 Opposite: Ushijima (Shiratorizawa) 10 Outside: Sakusa (Itachiyama) 10 Outside: Maruyama (Tsubakihara) 7.5 Middle: Onaga (Fukurodani) 5.5 Middle: Oyasu (Ohgiminami) 3.5 Bench Middle: Matsukawa (Aoba Johsai) 4 (7) Outside: Kinoshita (Karasuno) 0.5 (3.5) Setter: Haga (Tokonami) 0.5 (3.5) This is very much a min/max team without an overriding philosophy. I use Onaga and Oyasu to free up points for a star-studded team. Onaga seems undervalued at 5.5 points; he's a 191cm starter on a nationals level team. Oyasu is a blatant point saver at 3.5 points. However, He's decently tall, and I think he works as a generic, replacement level blocker. However, somewhat against the spirit of the bench , he'd be replaced by Matsukawa almost immediately. Blocking is definitely not this team's strongest point, but with good height across the board, they should still be able to put up a decent wall, even if I'm not allowed to use the bench for a backdoor starter. The team is built around the best setter in the pool setting to 2 of the top 3 aces in the country. All of my wing spikers are good to great at receiving, so with Yaku subbing out the middles, the receive should be rock solid. Miya can handle the occasional poor pass and still deliver a great set in any event. On the serve, When Ushijima, Sakusa and Miya are up I expect to get a lot of aces. The remaining servers should all be competent enough not to cost points. When spiking, I expect the offense to be almost unstoppable. Even if a team has the defense to slow down Ushijima, Miya is a threat on his own, and he's always going to have dangerous options of the left side. Maruyama was the hardest choice on the team. I wish I had an extra half point to grab one of the 8 point wing spikers instead, but he seems like a solid all rounder. He does a jump serve, he's a versatile spiker and he is good at receiving. With Miya setting to him, I think he'd be a real threat. It would be nice if he was a few inches taller, but he doesn't create any real holes as is and comes from a team I haven't used. Matsukawa is on the Bench to replace Oyasu, and is a very well valued, versatile blocker at 7 points usual. Kinoshita is there because he's cheap, and I think he works as a replacement level wing spiker and decent pinch server. Haga is there again because he's cheap, and I wanted a setter in case Miya gets injured.
