Yeah, I would want this too! My problem is I have very fine hair and so I can't really weigh it down at all with products that claim to make your hair silky and frizz-free. I use leave-in conditioner and hair oil at the ends, but it is not enough on super humid days and I just have frizz everywhere.

Leslie's hair looks so soft and luxurious. I love it! I am terrible with hair (and makeup, skin, beauty products in general lol), but already this channel has made my hair noticeably softer to the touch, and my dandruff flakes have gone away completely. My scalp doesn't itch any more and it no longer looks like my hair is thinning near my part (I don't think it ever was thinning there, but I wasn't shampooing properly so I had product buildup making my scalp all gross).

As many other of your followers have requested please do some videos for wavy and curly styling for frizz and definition and not just thick super curly hair. Seems to be the trend on KZfaq as hard to find for fine to medium wavy/curly types. Adore your channel and oroduct recs but definitely hard to relate to styling when all your models are long straight hair. Thank you so much Chris! 😊💞

What’s funny to me is that caps and bonnets were clearly a common thing in previous generations among white communities, you can see them all the time in old advertising, movies, The Night Before Christmas poem, etc. I am 30 (white), and grew up with the impression these were things for “grandmas”. It’s kinda sad how in a short time (5 decades or less) we got so distant from what was basically universal common knowledge and now we have to “rediscover” it.

Wow, I am just blown away by all of Chris' videos. I have been using a flat iron on my hair almost every day for 30 years! I've wondered for so long why my hair looks so awful in its natural state, I thought that's just my hair, I hate it. But I can see it's a cycle, it breaks and gets frizzy, so I straighten it, and then it gets worse. I am so grateful I found this channel, I'm going to start following the recommendations asap.

Hi, Chris! Thank you for all your help: I follow ALL your tips! I'm wondering if you might address this in a future video: [for context: My hair is shoulder-length and mostly one length.]: I follow your tips to sleep with my hair up, and to wash and/or heat-style only every 3 days or so. the struggle: When I take my hair down in the morning, there is so much "bun or ponytail volume" that it looks ridiculous and impossible to rehab; and additionally any waves or curls I put in previously seem to have disappeared due to having been "pulled up" all night. Since I don't want to heat-style too frequently, I usually just give up in the morning and default to a low ponytail. I'd love to learn some tips specific to combatting the "volume" (the wrong kind!) created by having the hair up all night; as well as not losing waves or curls in the nighttime updo either. Thank you for considering this idea!

Blowout Professor, help! All of us with wavy and curly hair need your wisdom... :) I've spent so much time watching routines for wavy hair and now I somehow found your channel and I feel so educated (thank you!!!) but when it comes to the wavy and curly hair there are so many cosmetics to use to style hair and also there are so many various hair dryer difussers (just to guarantee the extreme confusion to all users...) and so my question is... what products should we actually use for wavy and curly hair? With all of these creams and foams for curls - how many should we use and when and is the heat protectant also needed? I'm thinking about what you've said once or twice that too much products on our hair is not good at all. I think there are many of us, who need some more information on wavy and curly hair... I have a dream to wash my head once or twice a week because the time spending on styling this little freaks on my head is such a waste of time... but how can i accomplish that when my hair need so many cosmetics to do one typical hairstyle? Please please please - help wavy and curly viewers! Greetings from Poland❤🤍

Hi. Really been enjoying your video's. I, (53/m), being an old rock fan, have long, shoulder length, medium/fine hair, although it's thinning a little on top now. I haven't washed my hair for three years now, it's natural oils really do most of the cleaning. The only time I get it wet is when I colour it. (Often a reddish brown, once every 8 weeks). Every 5 days I use a dry shampoo if needed, a leave-in conditioner and a tiny bit of hair oil on my ends, with a wet brush. It stays silky soft, and has a natural healthy shine. It's amazing, when women ask how my hair looks so good, when i try to explain my hair routine, they look confused, many haven't even heard of leave in conditioner. I now recommend your KZfaq channel to them whenever this happens. It's nice to know that I've got the basics right, at least, after a lot of trial and error.

The term you're looking for, to describe your hair is 'dense', not 'thick'. Your hair can't be 'fine' and 'thick' at the same time. 'Thick' describes the individual hair, 'dense' the amount of hair, you got. Or at least, that's how I understand the terminology. I was confused about this, too, at the beginning. Hope, this is helpful!

I really appreciate your videos. I have started using many of your recommendations; however, your demonstrations are all for people with long hair. Those of us with shoulder length and shorter. It is hard to apply product to just the mids and ends when your hair is short. Some demonstrations on short hair (or older and grey hair) would be awesome. Also, occasionally I like to let my hair air dry to embrace the natural wave and give it a break from heat altogether. How do I keep the frizz away for several days? Thanks.

I'm at a loss as to weather I need a leave in at all with a shoulder length, heavily layered bob at all. I don't do anything to my hair except blow drying twice a week and I get regular maintenance cuts, obviously. My hair just isn't damaged and I feel, it barely even needs conditioner... never mind a leave in, in addition to a styling product. It doesn't tangle, it doesn't frizz, it doesn't feel dry or damaged. I like having lots of volume and I don't want to weigh my hair down, unnecessarily.

@@raraavis7782 if your hair is reacting positive to your current routine then there isnt much of a need to change your routine. if you want tr it see how it behaves if you dnt like it, stop. now if you reallllyyyy want to try then what you can do is get a little and work your way up with wet-damp hair. its had to be at least damp bc if not its going to be heavy and it wont spread correctly (this is for wash day- every day styling you would do what he said above. seriously small amount of oil on your ends- work it up). get a little bit of leave in, work it up. get a little bit of oil (really-seriously little bit. again wet-damp hair) work your way up. i love sporting shoulder length hair and my hair though its really healthy always appreciates when i add at least some leave in. but again if your routine is working for you. i see no real reason why you would change it.

I love all your videos and advice. I am 69 now and dealing with gray frizzy hair and some hair loss....do you have any specific advice for women who are graying?

Could you make a tutorial on styling bangs for an every day routine? I love your videos and you have changed the way i look at hair

I'd love that. I finally decided to have my bangs cut from very long curtain bangs to shorter whispie bangs. I'm happy with them but I'd like to see a styling tutorial too.

Chris please do a video on how to maintain our hair for that 3rd-4th day wash with exercising. Is it just a matter of using dry shampoo more?

You are the only person who has helped my hair start growing after over 3 years of it breaking off right at my shoulders! Thank you! I only use hair oil after I wash and style (every 3 days). Should I be using hair oil on my ends daily?

I have to admit I was skeptical that my hair could go without heat between washes! I am amazed at how well this morning(and evening) routine works!! My hair looks and feels great. I did have to do a few seconds of blow drying on my bangs but as they grow out a bit I think I will be able to skip that too! Thank you!

You saved my hair. THANK YOU. I thought my hair just changed when I turned 30, but turns out I was damaging it by flat ironing it every morning. My hair is beautiful and healthy again after 3 months ❤ MorrocanOil products have been amazing on my coarse hair!

@@Ohkeh640I used his product list for reference! I have coarse hair and love Morrocan Oil. I use the moisture repair shampoo and weightless hair mask. Remember to also use leave-in conditioner blowout cream and hair oil (I also use Morrocanoil)

Oh yay I'm happy I'm seeing this video now! I just ordered silk bonnets for sleep now that I've started the hair routine I learned about from you ❤️

What silk bonnets did you get and from where? I have one but it's not tight enough and slips off in my sleep (I'm a very restless sleeper) but I'm afraid to get one with the elastic band and it either be too tight and/or leave a mark on my forehead😥

@@sonyawinston5103 Oooh okay, that's what I'm curious to find out. I just ordered off Amazon it comes with two for like $13 or something. I move around a lot in my sleep too, and I panic if something is too tight lol hope they work! When I get to the mail and try it out I'll come back and let you know:)

First of all, I love your videos, you give us an amazing information! I trust you a lot. I thought blonde hair was expensive to maintain but it's not with your advices. The question is: What should we do (curly girls) between washes? I mean put some oil without detangling or whatever or just leave it until next wash... I have long curly hair with blonde balayage. Thank you!
