Hair Cut - a wedge

Showing step by step how a wedge is cut.
Long stem scissors is used to cut longer section for each execution to minimize the duration.
Only a "match head" brush is needed for simple blow drying to create netural curves.
Push the wedge to a climax by running fingers through hair on scalp from front to back to create depth and layers.
Finalize the vision by a breath of spray.

Thanks. The trick is dry the root first to make the hair stand up, then curve the the rest of the hair.

2JobsStillPoorUSA most people do know how to properly section and cut, there are hundreds of correct ways to section off and cut a single hair style and get the same or similar end result, if you're going to cheap places, or learner places then you're never going to get a good haircut. If you know so much about sectioning, cut it yourself

There actually are few hair cutters who know how to cut this style. If they were here when this style was famous, more than likely, they're dead now.

@@fabulously695 Your reply is rude. In my 75 years, few are hairdressers are very good at envisioning what your hair will and won't do day in and day out when you don't have a stylist. A good cutter is worth their weight in gold and if your hair grows at a normal rate, your stylist will be able to cut your hair so that it maintains its shape between cuts. My hairdresser cuts my extremely thick, curly hair so that I only need a cut every 8 weeks. If the shape is correct for your hair type, it will retain the shape even if it grows longer.

I like the Dorothy Hamil wedge...I guess when you hair starts thinning it is hard to cut like that...to me this is more of a stacked than a wedge...if you remember Dorothy's symmetrical flow as she skated...it was pretty long on ...There is a weight line....

haha, those are for taper comb over haircut, you could find it from a barber shop.

There is no term for the blow try. 1st, using a skeleton brush to push the root to make the hair strand stands and blow. 2nd, style the hair ends to the direction you like and blow. Remark: after each blow, keep the brush there and let the hair cool down.
