I watched this video back when I was a teen in high school, when I decided I wanted to be a barber. My family said no, and I had to study a career. And about a year ago I said f*** it. I'm following my dream, and I am a barber now, and watch this video once a week in a way to be thankful and remember where the dream was born 🔥💈💀♥️🇲🇽

My dream as well man. Been trying to find my groove since I got out in 2014. Did 8 years in the Navy and wanna bring back the old school vibe again and hire veterans and help them adapt back into society and give them a place to help others.

very cool, I'm a barber at a veteran ran (tough guys barber shop) in Daytona Beach FL. It's the best job, and the most fun I've ever had doing any job.

I get up at 7 in the morning, take a bus for one hour, then a train for 45 minutes. After that I have to walk to the shop for about 10 minutes. There i usually have to wait about two hours to get my hair done by these artists. It is so fucking worth it. :)

I have been out of barbering school since January of this year. I’ve seen you guys all over social media but to come across this video really put in to view for me what y’all do! I’m fucking amazed man! I absolutely love being a barber and I’ll do it til I die. I’m 38 but I don’t feel that I waited too long to do this. I really enjoyed this video and seeing the shop. Dammmm this is a great video ! Brings chills because they are right !! This was the kind of barber I went as a kid . Mom would send me by myself and barber would know what cut to do . Combover low fade . I want to find a place like this in LA .

"a walking commercial for the shop" Wow, that's how you look at it!!! I can only hope to find a barber near me that can cut hair half as good as these guys. If I get my hair cut someplace near me it's a commercial for where not to go. You guys are great! You know it's a great place when it's standing room only everyday! Ride 2 hrs for a haircut? WOW!!!! You leave there looking fantastic, not like you just climbed out of a wood chipper! I think it's really cool some of the downtrodden have gotten a second chance and have excelled!! Beautiful!!

I love the poster idea, makes it simple and yet as a customer you know what you're getting. I aspire to be as great as these fine gentleman at barbering. I don't really know where to get started though, Canada doesn't have a barber culture yet, a few shops, but they are always so busy.

In the US, most of these cuts are based on the rockabilly lifestyle. I used to be able to do these pomps, but I am thinning big time and it sucks looking at all these thick heads of hair.
