The difference between a hairdresser and a barber.....the bald fade.... I am a 37yr hairdresser.... I do NOT do fades, flat-tops etc. I leave those to the professionals ie: the BARBERS .....no shame here🤣

Good morning! The first lady’s hair looks like it’s a mauve/pink/purple that’s very very faded, before she started. Then the couple where she was “giving” him a fade. I love their joy! They were really having fun together & genuinely happy. It was so sweet to see.

Girl, my natural hair is 3.0 and this is almost at the end of the dark spectrum, it is very dark, only outdoors people realize my hair is not black.

That pinkish purple tone is the leftovers of her last dye, probably another purple. That's what my hair looked like about 7 months after dying it an electric purple like what she's fond of

Thank-You!! I was a cancer registrar in the US and there is a REAL link in dark dyes and bladder cancer. Makes me cringe how many women(more than men) hide those greys and risk cancers. Age with grace ladies❤

Yes, I see purple 💜 too!!! I remember doing the cap bleach on my older sister when we were younger... I was so good at pulling hair through that cap!!! I became the go-to girl for cap bleach hair pull!!! Lol... I myself have never ever dyed my hair and I'm now 44 years old!!! And a natural ginger/auburn...

With cap highlights I actually put in peekaboo highlights with nothing on the top...everything is actually hidden so mistakes are kinda forgive... ...plus I added pillar box red to the lightened hair and the result was pretty fantastic Time, patience and practice is the only way to get good results here

I saw purple streaks in the hair too for the first video. The end result didn't look bad to me. Looked like the mermaid colors that are seen now. The couple was adorable! Doing highlights at 11PM sounds impulsive. And bleach with no gloves?! Bringing out the color wheel was a bonus for me. Thank you for passing on your knowledge. ❤

First girl had left over purple and some either pink or faded out red in her hair and the back of her head by the crown,had some darker spot color, before she dyed it with manic panic.

As for the girl with the skull cap....the last time I had one of those on, I was fifteen years old getting a henna treatment. Back then, my hair was naturally dark brown. It turned out beautiful but it took about 2 hours or more ! I went to a salon to get it done. As the henna effect faded, unfortunately my naturally curly hair got dry and brassy so I'd never get another henna "do" but when it was new it was incredibly beautiful revealing a deep, deep auburn/dark brown. Loved it...while it lasted.

I used to use that manic panic shade Ultraviolet but on bleached platinum hair, it made my hair VERY purple with a blue shift. It was very unique (at the time) and very pigmented. As you said it was so muted because her hair wasn’t light enough. It was a nice dusty purple though in my opinion.

I saw the violet as well. I never had a good result with manic panic ultra violet. It didn't matter how "white" my hair was. But all other colours (not the ones, that are supposed to make anything white) were awesome, even with slightly yellow hair (bleaching the hair at home won't get you a good colour, now a hairdresser does it again. So much better).

Yes you re right !! When i put purple on my bleach yello hair the purple neutrolised the yell and it was Grey on thé roots and purple on the lengths but it wasn t bad !!

I don’t know hair Buddha. I used to use the ultra violet on my dishwater blonde hair and it was as bright as a black light. It was amazing I loved it, it was so bright. The thing I hated about it was the bleeding. The color came off on me, on clothes, in the shower. It was a mess and I always woke up with a purple face from my hair squished against my face while I slept.

My father was in the military so when I started doing hair, I learned to fade. That was the 80's and who knew the fade would come back in style so heavily. Scissors and comb for me, so it was very precise.

3:02 Shout-out to the Tangle Teaser brush - got one as a gift and thought, great, just another gimmick-y piece of plastic, but since it's small, I stuck it in my purse as a travel brush. Well, it actually works. I have long hair that's always a tangled mess after washing it, even with leave-in conditioner. I'd have to wait until it was dry to even attempt getting a brush through it, and I can actually use this (starting from the bottom of course) when it's still wet, with little to no breakage. Works great when it's dry too (& windblown all to hell, if you're a biker or ride in a convertible). Then my dog chewed it to death so I've been without for a couple months and this just reminded me to get another one. Thank you for a compilation of 3 from start to end. I ordered a lot of product, as I have 2 licensed stylists in my family but neither are able due to circumstances to do my hair. Again because of your videos I returned $255 of items and going for a consultation for grey blending, I am excited. I don't want my hair to look like cotton candy!

I have lucked out and going white! 😂. So I can use these types of colors in Purple. So the brown that is left still goes a “purplish” and the majority of the hair as white goes the vibrant color. But yes, the light lavenders have no luck unless I were to bleach everything.

Went to hairdressers today, 4 hours it took to remove the box dye and re dye so it wasn't 3 different colours. I had grey roots that flowed into a lighter Reddy brown, then into a dark brown where the lengths had grabbed the colour! All the work, knowledge, products and precise application CAN NOT be done at home full stop. Its wonderful to have ONE colour on my hair now. it was in the 3 range but has been lifted to 6 with the weakest bleach they have available (I have very fine hair) It was worth every penny! 😁

My hair is dark brown with about 10% grey And I use arctic fox purple AF and artic fox pink It's on my natural hair But I love the effect .

I am in my 70's. As a former painter, a number of years ago I decided I couldn't resist a blank canvas, so to speak, so I used purple Manic Panic on my mostly white hair. I liked it, but after 2 weeks, I really liked it! It had faded just enough to be a little more subtle, but I thought it was perfect. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later it had faded way too much. I tried it another 2 or 3 times, I think, but eventually decided it was too much bother for the length of time that I enjoyed the colour.

My experience with Manic Panic or any other vibrant hair colour; leave it in as long as you can (like 6 hours) and you will get the results you want, and it doesn’t damage your hair. Less damage than from a box dye. Just my experience
