Wind is the enemy for comb-overs. No matter how much hairspray you use, when it's a very windy day it's lights out in 10 seconds. Then you walk around not knowing how bad you look until you can get to a mirror. Just creates anxiety...

Dude use hairspray, thats how I solved it so it doesnt blow away. Hairspray makes your hair superstatic.

These ideas are also wonderful on women's hair. I have a pixie cut, and these techniques are wonderful at camouflaging my high forehead.

Thank you! I'm 51 and have always had a high forehead, but with perfectly straight, very fine hair. I grew it out and wore it halfway down my back for many years (or decades). I also had it highlighted for about 30 years. True story. Now, it's too thin. And really dark, but almost no grey. My face is really round, as in a globe, so longer hair helped me hide it. Because I'm older now, my hair thickness and texture mean less to me, and by that I mean I'm dealing with ailing parents and failing health, both theirs and mine. So thank you for the tips! I'll get it cut short now. But I will never give up on what is left with my hair.

This helped me a lot! I didnt think i could pull off that last haircut, but long and behold it doesn't look so bad. I'm going more for the volume/focus tip rather than hiding the receding lines.

I want to do the Hair transplant and get my straight hairline instead of M shaped. But true it's mad expensive I think the cheapest place would be India they are getting very good at it!

That's true guys.. India 🇮🇳 and Turkey ☪ (whilst as I type this, Turk nation is in a mess at the moment) But I'll still inform you that their hair-transplant pricing as compared to EXORBITANT pricing in the US and elsewhere, this is still really peanuts comparatively.. From USD 2000$ to 3500$, you can easily get about 5k Grafts ( 1 graft can have about 2 to 4 hair strands) that equals to 10 to 15 k hair strands easily.. Not bad at all.. I was stunned to learn USD 6000$ upwards in the States alone for that.. Crazy huh.. P. S. Don't expect these services to be cheap or tacky.. These guys are pristine and professionals taking Good Care.. I can give you that!!

5:12 is the way to go.....I have a big one...thats the best look. or get a number 2 buzz cut..OR the Oasis/beatles look. but ya have to grow it over the ear or it wil look a moe howard bowl cut

I have a fairly high hairline with straight fine hair, don't think it's receding but most slicked back styles just aren't viable for me if I want to be the most attractive I can be, I do exactly what you have described a couple minutes in grow hair and push it forward, it's a nightmare in the wind I Hairspray it down but it'll always be a challenge especially living in a windy place. I've had a messy ish fringe for most of my life and it has always been my go to despite the pain in the arse that is wind lol

Thanks for the tips...What about a longer style kinda like Andy Gibb. Nice to have some options. I notice my hair looks better long because the sides are thick & my hair is wavy, but I have to go with a sorta messy look, which is fine.

every guy in my family has been bald to some degree, and ive always had a big forehead and thin hair but i just cant tell if my hair is receding, i dont THINK it is, but its hard to tell, my hairdresser said its not but i dunno, i think its thinned out a little over the years but im 25 now and it doesnt look much different then when i was 18 or whatever so maybe i got lucky?

OMG!! That heads hairline is so similar to mine. I used to love my hairline but ever since it turned M shaped I don't like the look it looks irregular and just don't do me much favors:( I want to get my straight hairline back so bad!!!!!!!

I want to put my hair over my forehead to camouflage it as you have shown it in the first style. The problem with my hair is that from the scalp to somewhere towards the end, my hair is straight, but at the ends, it curls up. So my hair is straight from my scalp and as it reaches my eyebrow, it curls up and doesn't remain straight. It does not look good. How should I get my hair to be straight?
