These music composers for these games are very talented. Half Life has got some of the best industrial beats. I also just played a random freeware doom mod game called Ashes 2063 and was blown away by the soundtrack on that. Cyberpunk 2077 has an excellent soundtrack also.

Confession time: I’ve been playing video games since the Gameboy era and I’ve never played a Half-Life game. I’ve played both Portals, I’ve played both Left 4 Deads, and I am of course familiar with Half-Life’s legendary status, but I’ve just never gotten around to it. But this track is so killer, I can no longer go on in such a condition. I haven’t even finished the video yet and I’ve decided I must play both Half-Lives. If you’re reading this, you’ve caught me at the beginning of my journey. It’s unfortunate that I’ve missed it being free on Steam, but such is life. Looking forward to finally seeing what the legends are all about!
