Dear, Voltage with mag. Field ka matlab hai ki aapne hall probe ko electro-magnets k bich m rkha hua hai, Voltage without magnetic field k liye aapko hall probe ko electro-magnets se bahr nikalke, phir hall voltage ki reading leni pdegi, Aur constant mag. Field k liye to hum alag se electro-magnet ko supply de rhe hai, Hall probe ko hum alg appratus se current bhj rhe hai.

Excellent sir . but sir kindly guide me can we use hall effect of thin films ????? please sir reply me
@PhysicswithPrincekhapra
@PhysicswithPrincekhapra Жыл бұрын
Yes, Hall effect can be used to measure the electrical properties of thin films. Hall effect is a phenomenon in which a magnetic field applied perpendicular to an electric current in a conductor induces a transverse voltage across the conductor. This transverse voltage, known as the Hall voltage, is proportional to the magnetic field strength and the current flowing through the conductor. In thin films, the Hall effect can be used to measure the carrier concentration, mobility, and conductivity of the material. By applying a magnetic field perpendicular to the thin film and measuring the resulting Hall voltage, the carrier concentration and mobility can be determined. Additionally, by measuring the longitudinal and transverse resistances of the film, the conductivity can be calculated. Hall effect measurements of thin films are particularly useful in the field of semiconductor research, where the electrical properties of thin film materials are critical to the performance of electronic devices. The Hall effect can also be used to study the properties of magnetic thin films, where the magnetic properties affect the Hall voltage.
