A few notes. All Spartan Lasers’ kill/blast radii seem to be dependent on angles that are close to 90* (degrees) relative to your laser-beam shot. This is why you can shoot a laser near someone’s feet and get almost no damage (at near 0* angled planes); whereas shooting a surface, wall, or obstruction that is close to being perpendicular to target will cause the max kill/blast radii I showed in the video. Yea, it’s wicked weird. Spartan Lasers variants’ power differences were calculated using COG scope, Standard/ONI Scorpions and percent difference ;) Until next time Spartans!

Daniel LeCroy but what would it do? There are only so many ways to improve a splaser(less cooldown, longer beam, faster charge) whih have all been done already, also the splaser that johnson used doesn't have any special effect to it, unlike jorges chaingun, or something

Love the laser. Had 700 kills with it in halo 3 for the short time I played. It was my go to. Endgame makes it too easy.

I was messing around in Forge yesterday and decided to switch vehicles to different teams and use the COG/Advanced Sight Weapon Attachment to see how damaging different weapons are. I learned that a Nornfang should not be used against the engine of a Scorpion. It does little damage. However, Arrow of Time does the most damage to the Engine of a Scorpion. I recommend in future videos to try that out to see how damaging a weapon is.

so this makes selenes lance pretty useless, i always thought that the damage boost was significant, but every vehicle seems to take the same number of shots to kill with all 3 lasers.

Kai HiWAtari he made a mistake on the scorpion in the description. I takes 1 not 2 shots, plus, the selenes lance is about 2x as powerful as the endgame. I call that significant. you need to also remember that these are mostly the numbers for the basic varients of the vehicles. I'm sure in battle a selenes lance would be much more useful against the more powerful vehicles.

I corrected the data in the description for Selene's Lance. Apparently my word document I copied data from somehow duplicated the Endgame vehicle stats into the Selene's Lance section. It's all fixed now. Selene's Lance 1-shots standard Ghosts, Gungooses, Warthogs, Mantises, Banshees, Wraiths, and Scorpions.

En mi opinión pienso que el Láser Spartan de color Negro es la mejor ya que su tiempo de carga es el más corto, con esa arma e podido conseguir rachas y frenesí asesino en Superfiesta y en Zona de Guerra. Excelentes gameplays del final, me dieron muchas ganas de jugar Halo 5.

Ahh... so that's the Lance's special power. Never noticed that till now. Even playing H5 so long, the description of the weapon and actual gameplay, I never noticed that was its ability. Not as cool as I expected, but still like the charging laser's lingering damage. :)

can you do one, on which weapons exposes you when using camo. For ex. scoping with beam rifle exposes your beam. I would like to know what other weapons give away your position.

Selene's Lance will 1-shot standard Scorpion if you hit the full shot on target. The description is an error, I'll correct it soon to 1 shot. Thanks for catching the mistake :)

Just a quick question, are all assassinations the same length or does it vary? I've heard it varies but that wouldn't make a lot of sense from a balancing point of view.

I would think that they're the same speed. Judging by how some animations seem a tad too quick to be physically possible, and others are normal, anyway.

FutureIndieProductions the spartan laser always fires 5 shots extremely fast so it looks like one shot. selenes lance probably fires like 10.

@@MrMiniman629 all splasers are a beam in h5, in older halos the splaser was 1 hit, standard splaser does 10 hits of 70 dmg Engame 10 hits of 55.2 dmg And selenes lance does 30 hits of 37 dmg

With the endgame doing less damage per shot, the vehicle your shooting has most likely already taken some damage.

Standard splaser laser does 10 hits of 70 damage each(so 700 base dmg total) Endgame does 10 hits of 55.2 damage(552 total dmg) Selenes lance does 30 hits of 37 damage(1110 total damage) charging laser does literally 1 damage (All numbers are base dmg(dmg against players) this does not take vehicle dmg resistance into account)

@@Aozolai i made a script in forge that shows me the exact armor/health and shields a player or vehicles has, i made it also reversed where it shows me the damage that said players and vehicles recieved. Along with a 3rd script that i use to check beam durations (splaser, binary, etc.) I have that 2nd script tell me how much dmg each splaser did, and divided it by the amount of "hits" Each beam took(10 for splaser+endgame, 30 for selenes lance and binary rifle, 60 for the twin jewels and 153 for 1 overheat cycle of a sentinel beam) and there you go. N7 dutch STR is my gt, i would love to show you if you're still into this stuff

The glass of the wasp is nt considered part of the wasp itself and does not dmg the wasp when shot, so shooting the glass does 0 dmg to the wasp until its broken. So if half the laser is used to break the glass the wasp would only get half the full dmg

Standard Spartan Laser charge is 2.00 s +/-0.03 for error. I always do multiple tests for each value I give in the video ;)
