Beach Club Resort, Adults Only - romantic Australian honeymoon destination. This travel + foodie vlog sums up the second part of our honeymoon trip (recorded end of 2020) which was our stay at the beautiful Hamilton Island oasis.

The Whitsundays are a group of 74 stunning tropical islands just off the northeastern Queensland coast, sitting at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Hamilton is the heart of the Whitsundays - that is, chances are you will arrive here because this is where the airport is, it is the central hub, and it is where so much activity beams.
Fresh off the Hayman Island segment of our holiday (that vlog can also be seen on our channel!), we headed straight to Hamilton Island and treated ourselves to the adults-only resort, Beach Club. One of the highlights was its complimentary buffet breakfast with a twist - not only unlimited, but better yet, MADE TO ORDER, leading to unbeatable freshness and a highlight of our good morning routine!
We also decided to get our foodie experience on with dinner at the following locations:
- Beach Club Restaurant, a fine dining experience offering a spectacular beachfront view
- Sails, which includes a delicious South East Asian street food style fusion menu
- Popeye's, to sample the best of the island's fish & chips
- Private degustation dinner on Catseye Beach organised with the Beach Club Resort
Other than eating, Beach Club offers a stunning beachfront infinity pool with scenery that melts your heart, and there's also lots of cute friendly Aussie wildlife hopping around that like to say hi! Being adults-only, it also serves as the perfect location for a honeymoon or romantic escape where either relaxation or water activities can remain high on your agenda.
Finally, Hamilton Island offers the opportunity to reserve self-driven golf buggies for the day (book early) which is something the island is popular for. We also chose to send ourselves off in style by doing Explore's sunset sail catamaran cruise around the islands!
