8mm movie taken approx 1960 - 1962 in Hamilton Ontario at the corner of Aberdeen and Dundurn streets.

Walked by that corner every day while walking to school…..Earl Kitchener and Westdale. As kids we used to play in the snowbanks on the gas station property after a snowfall on the way home from school.

Very, very neat...went through this intersection about three hours ago! I'm a Studebaker fan, so it was particularly cool to see three or four Studes near the start of this video. One of the gas stations is still there, sort of, but isn't a gas station anymore. A nearly-new condo low-rise block is on the southwest corner where once there was a Tim Hortons...Hortons not having even been founded yet when this 8mm footage was shot...time flies.

We used to go to the church by that corner St. Boniface from the 60s to the 90s. Great childhood memories thanks for posting

Grandparents lived on dundurn. We. Used to get timhortons on the corner where the new building is. Hamiltons history is somthing else

This is the Southeast corner. The Southwest corner is where Hortons went up.

Do you know the name of the restaurant that was across the road near the bank? The Lazowsky family operated it for years.

Tim Horton’s was on the southwest corner. Gone now, replaced by a condo building.
