We are shooting for 5000 bundles by spring so we can really expand the roadside stands . I think them yellow bags an the wolf ridge bagger make a good combo an should last us for years to come

It’s good stuff and the customer service is excellent always a real person that answers the phone when you call .

@@AllenFamilyFirewood We appreciate you sharing the information. We used a lot of that netting from MasterNet Ltd but disappointed when it was discontinued from their product line. Incidentally, as far as tying the ends we tried a bunch of different ways, knotted, which wastes too much netting, Hog Rings with pliers ( too expensive ), and finally settled on wire ties using a hand spinner tool commonly used to secure concrete re-bar. It's simple, fast and portable for field use. That Wolfe Ridge Bagger is the best I've seen. Now, if we could cut down on the amount of work it takes.... LOL. Good job Allen Family !

David i cant say enuf about how great that Wolf Ridge bagger is . Combine that with the yellow net bags we use an its hands down the best set up ive used . We still have alot more bags to put up this winter we are shooting to have over 5000 made by spring but im sure as rugged as that is built it wont have any problem handling that an more .

Bob what brand gun did you use . Just seems like a never ending battle trying to keep it going . Im not much of a fix it guy im more of a break it guy lol. I think with a gun that worked an the pallets to stack on a lil closer Karen an i can do a 100 bags in a hr or real close to that .

Next time i probably wont fill the trailer as full that was a pain to deal with . Shipping on that bag material is almost as much as the material but being up here in Maine we are about as far as one can get from Oregon . Shes a stubborn one on them dang flip flops .

Thanks Frank we got your sticker also an thanks for getting that to us we are working up a plan to put them on something so they will be in our videos . I just love it when i show up to get wood an theres some saw logs mixed in its almost like christmas . We spent the next day bagging up the other trailer so the shop is full with over 500 bags in there now . The plan is to have over 5000 all made up for the start of next yrs selling season .

Thanks Todd the red bags still work as long as your not storing them out in the sun for more than a month . The yellow bags dont have that problem and there half the price but you do have to make them .

The stuff works great an you can cut the material to make the bags any length you want . Let them know we sent ya . I think we made the bags 40 inches long for the first roll but its a tight fit if you have wood longer than 16 in so this run we made em 44-45 long and it worked out good . Im thinking im going to start cutting my wood at 15 in so i can shorten the bags up an get over 600 outa the roll an still have a good grab handle . By doing that i think i can get the cost pr bag down under .35 cents . I talked Karen into giving me a hall pass so you an i . can talk at the show lol. . Karen just showed me your short that just came out lol thats a good one .

Wont be long Lenn an we will have it dialed in an really sending the bags out .

Thanks Dan It was alot hot out so i didnt want to open the door an let all the cool air out but i think thats a good idea for the next time . I havent tryed any dry lube on it i did put plenty of oil in it an on it but that didnt work . Someone commented that has alot of time on a hog ring gun says there always jamming up so maybe its normal . At least now we got it to under 5 min to clear a jam .

Another Maina good deal an thanks for watching . We did add oil just like all my other nail guns and even tryed oiling the slide that goes back an forth . Some times its every 25 bags it jams an i think the farthest we got with it was 150 bags . Half makes me wonder if its the hog rings that are the problem . What part of the state are you in . We are in Gray

We did that this yr in all our wrapped bundles over 2000 of them an only got 1 call from them . We just used a piece of paper we ran threw the printer . We would have to have something water proof to go in the bags as we are storing them outside for the winter an cant justify the cost after seeing the return . But i think we will have better signage at our stands next yr so they know who to call for 1/3 cord or bigger deliveries . Thanks William

Thanks Dan shipping on a bundle would be steep im guessing lol. Usually the first of oct or so when we shut it down . Mostly because the dog likes to still jump in . Weather has ben crazy here this yr one day is in the 90s an the next its in the 60s or raining non stop .

Anywhere between 500-600 bundles depending on how long you want them. We cut ours about 42in long to accommodate the 16” wood and leave a grab handle. We get better than 500 bundles from a roll

No idea Noel we havent had a tv on in months . If anything big is happening usually the guys hanging out at the variety store in the mornings will be talking about it an i havent heard anything from them .

So far it looks like it’s going to be more out to sea…not a direct hit. They’re saying high coastal tides and rain and wind. It’s looking like a pretty rainy week here so far, it’s pouring out right now. Not sure how it may impact Nova Scotia though…looks like it may be worse there

@@karenallen8581 This morning it’s heading just west of PEI. Western end might get it worse than where I’m at. But the winds are slowing down so that’s good. Jumpins most of us islanders are still cleaning up after Hurricane Fiona last year in September.

Roll comes in 2000 ft , i think we got about 600 outa that roll . Cost pr bag is about .40 cents . We could get more pr roll if we didnt leave the tail on it as a grab handle but it makes it easier for us to handle them .

we cut the bags about 40 inches long i think the gun is 3/4 inch

Your right tell Karen i need another trailer to put wood into .

We just started building something similar but smaller than the bagging station for doing kindling but i need to spend a day on the splitter making kindling first before we do a video on that .

The back side of the Wolf Ridge bagger has a table to set the full bags on . For the empty bags we need to come up with something better but she is always swapping sides of the trailer to put wood in so a table would need to be on each side of the trailer and theres not enuf room . Was thinking about building something that hangs from the trailer to hold the empty bags but this was just the first try at bagging outa the trailer .

You got that right we went cheep because we wasnt sure the gun was the way to go . Now we know it works its time for a upgrade .
