@@GrayBeardedGreenBeret ...sorry ,I didn't notice your Timestamp.. in the Comment Description section... When I make time stamps on peoples videos...I use my laptop , and open two windows of the same video...One video window is for observing the video and subject time frame and the second window is for the comment section...installing the timestamp...makes it go faster, doing it this way. I only enjoy doing these Time Video stamps for videos that I enjoy and have great info to pick out...Your videos have been very educational, and very helpful...your a gifted instructor...cheers.

Thank you so much for this fantastic content. To recap new things I learned from this one video: 1. Bottle toggle 2. The definition of punk wood 3. Bannock recipe 4. The importance of the woodmans pantry 5. The elevator fire lay 6. Definition of a trystick And I'm sure I'm forgetting a few! Thank you for The richness of your teaching and the clear demonstrations! You rock Josh!

Living (and camping) in the coastal south east made me really come to appreciate the level of comfort and accessibility the hammock provides. Especially compared to a traditional tent or other ground shelter. When it's hot and humid and the bugs are biting throughout the day and night, it's the little comforts like a cool, restful sleep that I've come to appreciate these days.

Actually, it's the smile that counts. When I was young, I had a bit of time with a man who was doing some things like splitting fireworks or shovelling stone, etc. It was the contented amiability that pours out that makes me, the onlooker feel properly taught. ...thanks Josh

You seem to be getting more comfortable in front of the camera with each new video. Loving the information and your style. For anybody wanting to try out hammock camping on the cheap with a great setup and what i did when gifted with one of those "parachute hammocks" on amazon/ebay, the ones with the integrated bugnet was to add an 7/64" amsteel ridgeline (standard 83% of hammock length) to get a constant lay and swap out the cheap suspension for some 12' custom diy 1" x 12' poly strap (1500lbs rated) and cinch buckles. The only biggy was popping a hole in the bugnet to pass the ridgline and sewing it (bugnet hole) around the the ridgeline to prevent it from fraying and making the ridgline. Plenty of videos on doing that and continous loops for the cinch buckles. Edit: After thought after waking up this AM, make sure to get the longest widest of those hammocks for better sleep for that diagonal lay. Also using a sleeping bag as a top quilt works for those not sure about investing in a complete system, never tried them but outdoor vitals has a good selection of gear for the under part for cheap. Also make sure not to sew the ridge line to the bugnet so it can slip on the ridge line when under tension.

I also appreciate that not only that you show how but the why. Your style and demeanor are matter of fact and very informative with no attitude. I will be spending a lot of time going through your older videos to catch up. Very well done! Thank you.

Thanks! Something new I am trying out. Some folks don’t like long stuff or searching around with the time stamps so I wanted to have individual skills videos that were shorter they could go directly to if they would rather. The long ones have the more personal stories and all that for folks that would probably like that sort of thing that aren’t in the shorter ones for folks that are just looking for specific information

It lets the viewer connect on a more personal level with you while still giving information on what should be done and why it should be done to make our bushcraft/ camping / survival outings all they can be . I personally hope to see more of these ,, it's still straight to the point , but with a sense our buddy is showing us how to do it right ..
