The best Iced Matcha Latte recipe | Green Tea latte | Better than Starbucks

I love matcha latte - the secret ingredient to my recipe is the vanilla syrup. Vanilla smooths out the bitterness of the matcha and that’s what makes this recipe so good! Low quality matcha tends to have more bitterness so pls use high quality matcha!
BTW, you can use GREEN TEA instead of MATCHA. (although it won't taste as good)
▶Iced Matcha Latte◀
Quantity: 1 glass of Iced Matcha Latte
Matcha base 60ml
Milk 180ml
▶How to make matcha base◀
The quantity below is more than what you would need for a glass of matcha latte written above.
Matcha powder 9g (adjust the strength of the matcha by ±1g)
Sugar 20g (adjust the sweetness to your taste by ±5g)
Hot Water 20g
Vanilla Syrup 40g
1. Pre-mix matcha and sugar.
2. Add hot water to step 1 and mix.
3. Add vanilla syrup to step 2.
4. Strain if needed.
5. You can make matcha base in advance and store in the fridge for a couple of days.
If you have store-bought vanilla syrup you can use that but pls pls come on, home-made vanilla syrup is so much better! For the recipe on home-made vanilla syrup take a look at the following link: • Amazing homemade Vanil...

BTW, if you don’t have vanilla powder you can use the match base recipe below instead:

That tip about stirring the matcha powder into the sugar to make it smooth is GOLD! I can now make the SMOOTHEST matcha lattes I've ever had. I just had to come back to t his video and thank you. I make these at home now and no longer go to the coffee shop to buy them.

Matcha lattes are my favourite 😍 honestly Starbuck ones are a hit or miss.. I've even had ones with clumps of powder in them. I'll save this video for when I can get my hands on some good matcha powder and make my own at home yay!

I just made this, super good! I made the vanilla syrup to go with it, didn’t let it she for 3 days just used straight away and was still great! I used an electric frother with oat milk and it was great, 10/10!

i didnt have vanilla syrup so i used a smaller amount of vanilla extract and a little more water. this was my first matcha latte ever. it kinda tasted like chocolate nesquik i used to drink as a kid. it was great.

Nice and refreshing! Love the casual outfit you are wearing…very ‘barista-istic’ 😄 I normally do with almond milk or coconut milk, but using normal sugar. Will try this using vanilla syrup. I guess matcha goes well with mangoes too. We made mango matcha smoothie. It was delicious. Thanks Hanbit for another amazing recipe.

I tried this recipe, but unfortunately it was extremely sweet for me! However, since the comments really have positive reviews, I’ll make this recipe again in case I just did something wrong and maybe adjust the recipe 😁 No one asked, but I’ll share my recipe for this who don’t like super sweet matcha latte: Your choice of amount of matcha + 1/4 hot (not boiling) water 2 tsps vanilla syrup (Hanbit Cho’s recipe) 1 cup milk I don’t use ice because I don’t want it watered down. I found this ^ matcha latte recipe just right!

If you find mixing matcha powder with sugar too sweet, you can skip the sugar using a hand-held battery operated frother to mix the matcha powder with hot water. And voila - a smooth matcha mixture without sugar.

I LOVE matcha lattes, and this looks so good! But, I’m trying to cut back on sugar, plus I wanna get the benefits of the matcha without supplementing it with sugar and dairy. Most days I substitute regular milk with oat milk and that’s usually enough for me to make it sweet without adding more sugar. This looks unbelievably yummy though, so I’ll probably make this one weekend. I’m sure it’ll be way better than what I get from Starbucks 😄
