paya gonz yes I have to show the people how to because their was no online videos when I started. Self taught without this stuff. Now a days all the information is out there you just have to know how to put it all together the right way. What equipment do you use? Sounds like you already have figured out?

My son loves your videos and posts, hes been wanting to get int to the engraving and has been getting down with the Dremel, but is wanting to get going on this stuff. Were in El Paso, Texas so stopping by for a class wouldn't seem possible. Cant find air engravers on line for a good price for a 15 year old... Keep Banging man! good stuff!!!

hi.. cool footage job well done. a pleasure to watch. it amazes me how the cutting bit does not continue to cut deeper into the material. .has it got something to do with the angle.. or are the bits designed to cut a certain depth..plz forgive my ignorance. I am new to engraving..cheers best regards

thank you for the vid. .very impressive . i didnt see in the comments. .did you mention the graver you use. hss, carbalt or tungsten? you dont seem to sharpen it in vid. .it seems to keep edge well.

No I only show in classes I teach. I make my own chisels using GRS blanks

@@engraveit5811 im sorry i should have clarified. . im familiar with sharpening, i have both grs and lindsay fixtures. i was just wondering what type of metal was your graver blank. . i only engrave soft metals, and basically, the amount of metal your moving so fast just blew me away. but if its a trade secret. . i understand completely. . thank you for the vid

On line class would be better practice makes perfection make it your own your own style practice all scrolling techniques don't sell yourself short people like different scrollwork

Xavier Jasway in my opinion online class would not work unless if every one has invested the same amount of money roughly $2,500-3,000 on quality equipment to do a online class. I alway tell everyone I rather be unique with my own scroll work. That has helped me for the last 21 years make a name for myself and stand out from the rest that copy tradition style scroll work.

Not necessarily. Can engraving many different styles. But if customer ask & pay for this “old” signature style that’s what they’ll get. Please feel free to recommend anything when wanting any engraving. Thank you for your opinion it means a lot.
