Japan is too far away, other three are way too weak to make a difference South America is also really weak but maybe adding the entirety of Latin America would help, so that the US has a southern border to deal with

This is a great idea, but I must say I have never seen a more incompetent ai in my 3+ years of playing/watching HoI4. Italy literally sends its entire army to Russia, fights for about a week, then completely abandons it. The same happens to Bulgaria, which causes Italy to be at war with the two for much longer than they should be. This could be fixed if the Russian ai wasn’t equally as stupid; it didn’t even move to attack the Italian lines, though they were completely open
