I miss being able to workout, I have had a pain in my back for quite a while now. I suspect its a pinched nerve. I have been to several doctors and they cant seem to help me.

You can't learn to balance a handstand just by kicking up, you may learn how to kick into the right position, but the best and maybe even the only way to learn how to balance is to handstand against a wall and trying to balance as long as possible without touching the wall

Use the wall to find balance. Before I do handstand push-ups (belly to wall) I like to get into position then give a few tippy taps against the wall, alternating feet slowly. Once you get that floating feeling, you know you're good!

You're probably too weak. Do some shoulders and fingers strengthening exercises
