Cheesy wind puns aside, my apologies for not having something up sooner. I have been composing in the background, but mainly for projects that are not ready for me to release music for. Stay tuned, I will have a familiar theme up tomorrow in true World Tournament Style. :)

I've always seen this as almost sounding like you're fighting the villain team, and someone on your side is low on HP, and about to collapse. But it isn't any of your pokemon. They've been gunning for the trainer.

i think it would best if its your pokemon instead but refusing to go down, but everytime it gets hit, the description details how badly its hurt and how it refuses to give up on you. for ya to lose this fight is once your pokemon reaches it limit how many times it can get hit.

Shame, I like this music change from the battle - keeps the tune and melody dynamic with the fight, especially bouncing back from recovery to the battle tune again. Sun and Moon also did not have it right?

This theme is way better than the regular theme for one reason, The sense of urgency. The regular theme only leaves you in shock but this one gives you the urgency to do something about the situation

Imagine how cool it would be if instead of the animation being slowed down when a Pokemon was at low HP, they had a variation of their default sprite animation where they stumbled and staggered out of exhaustion

Its amazing how incorporating the low hp alarm into the music makes it suddenly not only tolerable, but feels natural and serves to highlight the precarious situation it's meant to symbolize without overly annoying the player/listener, especially the tiny skips that accelerate the alarms pace for a moment.

This is one of those rare songs that makes me actually slightly tear up for some reason. Maybe a mix of nostalgia for the soundfont, how good it is, and the fact that imagining it in context gives me the proper level of anxiety? Regardless, this is really, really good.
